I bought the Acebone Women's shock absorbing no show socks to help with my heel pain while standing to teach all day. These socks do help comfort my heel but I wear a size 9 shoe and these socks really are at the limit of fitting my foot. The gel in the heel part is comfortable and does help when I'm up and moving around my classroom a lot. I like that they work well with all of shoes I have tried them with (sneakers and dress shoes) and they are comfortable with them.I received the gel socks at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion. I ordered these for my daughter who is constantly on her feet at work. These fit in with her uniform and her safety shoes without chafing the back of her ankle. She said they were very cushioned, which she liked, but that they made her feet sweat more as they were not very breathable. These also work with regular sneakers, and provide comfort when out hiking all day and your feet get fatigued. Women's Shock-Absorbing Plantar Fasciitis socks - These are small/medium so I wasn't sure if they would fit me, but I was so excited to try them. I just had to try them! When I took them out of the package, I expected them to look like the picture where there was a visible heel on the outside of the sock. I looked at them and thought, "these are just regular socks and they sent the wrong socks!" Luckily for me, they were the right socks! I soon learned once I put them on my feet. The small/medium size fit perfectly! My shoe size is an 8-8 1/2.These socks are wonderful. I have issues with my feet, especially in the morning. Instead of slippers by my bed, I have these socks by my bed. I slip these on my feet and start my day. There is a squishy gel insert inside the sock around the heel area that serves as a cushion. This relieves my leg and foot pain because the shock that I would feel with each step is non-existent when wearing these socks.I definitely recommend these amazing socks to anyone with any type of heel issues. I Love these! My heals get sore a lot if I am on my feet for a long period of time and these socks feel amazing! The gel is cooling when you first put them on but then adapt to your foot temperature. They are thin, so they don't feel weird in your shoes, but have a definite added comfort padding. I think they would be great for anyone that has foot pain, maybe for those that like to run or walk a lot or are on their feet a lot for work. I think it would be especially helpful if you have to work on hard flooring like concrete. I do not have plantar fasciitis so can not advise how they would work for that.
