These are easy to install and work well.

The media could not be loaded.  They are exactly as advertised. These are small and thin. Even with that they have a very powerful magnet. It comes with two sets. Each set consisting of one metal plate, on magnetic metal plate, four screws and each plate also has adhesive sticky pads. I think you could probably get away with just using the sticky pads although I did go ahead and use the four screws. I was using it for a nightstand with a door that wouldn't stay shut. It works great and holds the door closed. Also it looks good as the design is so flat. It's not even noticeable that they're there. Even though they are a powerful magnet it is not too hard to open either. The company got this one just right. Would buy again if I need to. Highly recommend.

I have a little cabinet with doors that are hinged with plain surface-mount hinges. Converting them to self-closing hinges isn’t workable, but these magnetic catches are an easy solution. In addition, I have another cabinet that has a warped door, so that its self-closing hinges close the door, but it sticks out at the top due to the warpage. Adding one of these magnetic catches holds it in place so that it has a more pleasant appearance. My only reason for knocking down to 4 stars is that one of the magnets came loose from its holder almost immediately after installation. A touch of Super Glue took care of it, but it shouldn’t have happened.

Used this on a metal cabinet where the catch had worn out. Stuck the magnet portion to the inside of thedoor. Didn't need the other part because the cabinet is metal. Was easy to install and works great!Would work on wooden cabinets also. Screws included if you prefer to screw instead of glue.

These are very thin in profile which worked very well for me.The magnets have the perfect amount of adhesion for my application which was a set of louvered bifold doors.

We have a couple of pocket doors that are always rolling open and refuse to stay closed. Placed magnets on the edge of the door and on the door frame to hold the door in place when closed. The magnets almost look like their part of the door hardware.These magnets are really strong! Our pocket doors just have small indents to open the door so you can't easily apply a lot of force. Using both pieces these magnets I needed two hands to pull the door open.I decided I need something with much less surface area for the magnet to grab on to. I ended up placing the magnet on the door and just drilling a small flathead screw (like the ones used to mount the magnets) into the frame. The small surface area of the screw head provided enough hold to keep the door closed and I was able to easily open the door without any real force required.The magnets come with an optional adhesive backing. It's not your typical sticky tape-like backing... it's a clear gummy adhesive strip. I used it temporarily just to see how things worked and I'm actually quite impressed with how strong that adhesive is. It took a bit of effort to pop the one piece off the doorframe. I'm pretty sure the magnet is going to stay in place with just the adhesive. I now won't bother screwing it place unless I have to.Even though I didn't use the two parts provided, I gave these 5 stars because I felt I couldn't fault the magnets for being too strong.
