Umpqua Shimazaki Fly Fishing Dry Shake Fly Floatant Original

I bought this dry shake formula here to replace the old one I'd lost while brook trout fishing. I have over 20 years of fly fishing experience. However, when I used this product when fly fshing in TN it did NOT work at all. Did NOT coat or float my flies. I should add that the dry shake formula that I'd lost was the exact same brand and it worked great. This product I bought here did NOT work. Nor did it look similar to what I was using before. So I had to go to a fly shop and buy the same exact dry shake formula, which worked GREAT on the river. But this one that I bought here did NOT provide any positive floatation for my dry flies.

Best shake fly floatant I have used and I have been doing this for 20+ years. Add some gink or other silicone floatant and fish until it sinks. Dry and shake in Shimazaki bottle, blow it off and you are back in business. It's my go to.

Good stuff... used it a number of times not both in the State of PA and in AZ, for dry flies, May flies and some Hoppers... worked as expected even after catching some lunkers with the flies... Thumbs up!

Works as promised. Used for dry fly fishing.

This dry powder works good but even better if your fly is relatively dry.

What can I say this stuff works I have guided for years and this stuff floats a fly even when the client is insistent on depth charging their fly
