Here's my deal. I thought this was an outdoor cover (as advertised) that I purchased to cover my car while i waited to get a top replaced. I ordered and when I received it,.. was a little apprehensive as it just feels like a cotton-like material. I checked the bag it came in and yes,.. they shipped me the correct item as ordered. I put this cover on and it hadn't rained here in VA for a bit so I just waited for rain (yeah,.. too lazy to take out the hose). Well,. it rained finally,.. for a few days as a matter of fact and know what?.. My car, under the cover, was soaked,.. the interior is now damp and moldy smelling. I would have been better off duct taping a sheet of plastic over the hole in the window as I had been doing. This cover does NOTHING to protect your car from rain,.. as it advertises not just in Amazon, but on the manufacturers website. As It was dry when I came back from work,... I ook the car cover off and into my bathroom where I poured some water on it. Instead of repelling,.. it soaked through. This is unacceptable for an item advertised as "5 Layer Waterproof and UV Protection" cover. I will be returning.

I purchased this for my 1999 Porsche 911. I do not have access to a garage or adequate shade, so needed something that would protect the car from the elements.This cover turned out to be better than I expected. The cover has multiple layers. The top-most layer is aerated to allow heat to escape, thus preventing the interior from baking and cracking. The middle layers keep moisture from penetrating through the upper layer, The bottom layer is nice and soft to protect the paint. It comes with its own canvas storage bag.It slips on and off the Porsche profile like a familiar, comfortable pair of favorite jeans. The entire front and rear contours have heavy elastic bands that hold it snug; there is a snap clip and strap amidships to pass under the passenger cabin to secure the cover to the car. We've received the tail end of two hurricanes so far, and even 50mph winds and heavy rains have failed to do damage to the cover or the car.The only minor complaint I have can't be helped. It tends to leave a trace of lint - but I would rather have lint I can dust off than scratches! :>Taking it off is a breeze, too. I tend to fold both sides up so that the long edges meet in the middle of the roof (so the soft white side is exposed), fold it longways again (So it is uniformly folded in half) , and then roll it up from back to front. Stuff it in the bag and go. To put it back on, just reverse the process. Off in 7 minutes, on in 5. :>

This will be perfect for my 996 with Aerokit. I know the wing is a bit of an oddball so I will not fault the cover for not completely covering the rear end. It fits very well and the mirror pockets are very nice.

I had a Porsche convertible a few years ago and I purchased a custom car cover that cost me about $300. When I saw this I thought this might be a good deal. The fit was awesome but the protection wasn’t. In the Northeast We have had torrential rains over the past two weeks and although I thought my car was being kept dry it was it. When I took the cover off their water spots and other signs that it was wet underneath the cover. Just spend the money on getting a good one

Fit perfect and the quality is spot on. I would definitely repurchase from vendor and am considering the purchase for another vehicle. Additionally, it is not a super heavy cover so installation is a breeze. I have purchased other covers for my Porsche, but this one fit the bill as described by the vendor.

It is really for a 997 (2006-2011), and fits perfect. I had one prior which I purcahsed on Amazon for my 996 but it was far less form fit. This one clearly tells you which end is front and the side view mirrors line up for a sure and simple fit. I am easiy able to put it on myself. One piece of advice, when not using it, make sure its in a dry place as the liner will flake if it gets wet and then dries over and over again.

This car cover fit like a glove. It's used primarily to cover car in the garage. If you have a convertible canvas top, make sure to pick up a lint roller to remove small hair like particles from the inner lining of car cover. I would not recommend outdoor use of car cover in areas susceptible to rain.

The CarsCover car cover fits my Porsche like a glove. Looks good. Great value. However, with the car cover on the Porsche, after a rain storm, the car is wet.
