This would be a great set if it included item descriptions. It was to be used as a learning tool for studying different cultures. Otherwise this could have been a 5 star set because there are lots of pieces. The plastic is lightweight but sturdy, and seems easy to sanitize. It just needs an item list. Preferably in English and Chinese.Update:Because the plastic is hard, it’s difficult to pick things up with the chopsticks and can be frustrating to use- especially for beginners with small hands. Still it’s a nice set with hard to find food items. I would recommend it for ages 6 & up.

This play good set has so many fun options that my daughter loved! Her favorites were the containers and the drink cups with lids. I like that it’s not all super hard plastic, yet is sturdy.

Sometimes less is more. I don't understand the addition of pizza in this set. To me, it doesn't belong and it brings the quality of this product down. The black tray for the pizza is no stronger than a cheap disposable picnic plate. The eggs were crushed within 30 minutes.The dim sum variety is vast and I was really excited about that aspect. I wanted diversity for my toddlers pretend foods and I got that in this set. The dim sum is hard but this also makes it hard to pick up with chopsticks (which are super short and thin). My toddler loves playing and pretending with the items in the kit. I took out the smaller items - I'll add those when my kid is older.

Wow!!! I went by reviews and I was extremely disappointed in the quality of this pretend food!!! I could have done better at a $1 store! Dishes that came with this set are tiny! The bigger bowls with lids are cheap! Waste of money as I won’t let my toddlers play with this !!

This set of toys is a great addition to any play kitchen. Most of the toys are Oriental food and accompanying dishes which is a new kind of twist on things found in a play kitchen. The quality of the toys is great and I love that it comes with lots of food options plus dishes. Well worth the money!

My kids have a lot of fun with this assortment of play food. The containers and chop sticks are favorites. The food is made of hollow, thin plastic but is sturdy to withhold lots of play. Overall we are happy with the addition of this set to our play kitchen.
