If you like the scent of menthol and have exceptionally dry skin, this works great to apply to hands at bedtime after bathing to hold in moisture. Since its base is petroleum jelly, it isn't ideal for daytime use. I have been using this for years since a job in the emergency department requires hundreds of hand washes per day. I prefer the scent of Mentholatum over Vicks Vaporub.

If menthalatum ever stopped selling this product I would be a very sad customer. I used it every day to make my nose feel less dried out and the menthol fumes open my passages and make breathing so much better. Thank you Menthalatum. From a lifelong customer.

I use mentholatum on my lips and when I get a cold I put it on my neck and wrap a soft cloth around my neck. And usually I am well in 1 to 2 days. My mother used this on all my siblings when we were young

Loved the multi pack of small jars so each family member can have one. We put mentholatum at opening to our nose to help with breathing. We have lots of allergies. I even inhale the fine from the jar. It's soothing.
