Fun craft to do with daughter, she loved the time spent making and gifting the necklaces to her friends. Strings are thick enough not to strip and beads are super cute to have a fun creative time making crafts!Would recommend getting a storage container for beads as they will get all over the place and misplaced.

My daughter and I had fun making these together. It was a nice way to be creative while stuck at home. The price was great too! The mermaid theme was super cute too.

We purchased this for a birthday gift for a mermaid-obsessed little girl who just turned 7. Since my kiddos are older now, I had absolutely no idea what kind of jewelry kit she would like. My now 12-year old daughter (who babysits for her) felt that this one would be perfect. When it arrived, the box felt completely empty. I actually had to wonder if there was anything inside except for the charms that showed through the peek through window of the box. The charms were cute enough, but to be honest...this seemed like a super cheap jewelry set. We were desperate, though, and given the fact that we live in the middle of Wyoming with no gift options, we were stuck. We coupled it with a musical mermaid jewelry box (also purchased on Amazon) and wrapped it all up with fingers crossed.When she opened it, she went crazy over the jewelry kit. She couldn't wait to tear it open and start making bracelets and necklaces. The charms in the viewing window were enough to convince her that it was perfect. It comes with a handful of pearls and beads, 15 seashell charms, and about 10 ribbons. The quantity matched the photo that shows what comes in the box. Yes the box could be smaller, but I like the fact that it has space to display necklaces and bracelet ideas. A smaller box wouldn't allow for that or the viewing window which allows you to see before you buy. I can't vouch for the quality, but I can tell you that there aren't many jewelry kits on the market or this age group that you can get for this price. It might fall apart after a few wears, but given the smile and excitement on the birthday girl's face, I'd say it was worth it.

Of all of her birthday gifts, my 5 year old loved this the most. Hours of creative play, quality pieces, and really pretty final products! She was so proud!

Purchased as a bday gift. The child loved it and immediately ripped into it. Her siblings also enjoyed it and they worked together for hours.

Bought this for my Mermaid obsessed niece. She liked it, but the contents weren't what I expected. This should have had more for her to work with. The contents were ok quality, just not very much in the box. She played with it once, made a few short bracelets and that was it.

I love the idea of this product. I purchased this for my two year old who is in love with mermaids. The box is a bit big for the amount of product you get so that was a bit disappointing. I think for the price and the size of the box they should supply some more pendants and beads.With that being said, I adore the quality of this product. It really looks the the type of jewelry a mermaid would wear. The beads and pendants are so lovely. I think this is a good way for younger children to be creative and artistic.As disappointing as the quantity of this set was I would purchase again because of how much my daughter enjoyed it and how happy she is when she wears her bracelets and necklaces around.
