Amazing reel for the price.
Ive used this exact feel for a few years now and love it. The drag is amazing and smooth. Daiwa to me is by far the best quality reel on the market. You will not be disappointed.

Great reel, more value for the price
Having multiple $200+ reels, this ranks up top with them. Great for heavy duty fishing, entry level or using for extra rods laying around. For this price point, only helps. Totally worth the money and super smooth

For the money, an excellent reel
Can’t believe how smooth this is for what I paid. Drag is solid and line lay is even out of the box without needing spacers. Very quiet operation. Retrieval speed seems to match description, which is what I need to slowly work things back.

Solid Reel
Only used once so far, casts well, smooth retrieve, bail didn't engage a few times when flipping open on the cast and not a fan of the handle knob in the 2500

Top of the line
Pair these reels with a Fenwick Eagle rod....you will NOT be disappointed.The Legalis series does have a faster rate of retrieve than similar Daiwa models, so keep that in mind when purchasing.

Different size
The size info was off, lovely real but too small for my needs.

Smooth as silk
Drag smooth....Handle to gear movement is solid.....spool movement up and down as well as free play nil. Big Flaw though, spool clicking soft and silent. I miss the old Daiwa drag clicking when fish run...Why.......
