Will unscrew the tightest water filter housing!
Ah the age old question: Can a man tighten a household water filter housing so tight that not only he can unscrew it it? The answer is yes, when that man is an airhead and kept tightening it thinking he was UNscrewing it. Lefty loosey wasn't working because I was looking DOWN (sigh). So then I tried to unscrew it using the plastic wrench it came with (which I originally tightened it with) and BROKE it, and then I broke ANOTHER wrench, this time a strap wrench with a nylon strap and steel handle. I came upstairs defeated, covered in sweat, and somehow both my ego AND arms were bruised.Knowing I needed a longer handle for extra torque and an unbreakable strap, I ordered this Ruikarhop. In two minutes I had the housing off and I didn't even break a sweat. This thing IS heavy duty and did the job no other wrench could do! The thing looks like you could use it to fight off a hoard of zombies, but for now it's a cherished tool in my workshop.TLDNR: Fantastic product that allowed me to unscrew an extremely tight household water filter housing. 5/5.

Perfect for removing the air dryer filter on your semi truck!
I broke the cheap quality Harbor Freight rubber strap filter wrench when trying to remove my semi truck air dryer filter. I ordered this and got it the next day. It worked perfectly to remove it. I had to really crank on it because the filter was on super tight. But this chain wrench did the job and I'm one happy girl not having to take the truck to a shop to have them change out this filter! WOOHOO!!!

Good tool
Pretty good tool. Did what it was supposed to do. Only problem is the chain gets stuck and is hard to remove.

Not practical
Unless your filter is out in the open standing straight up this is not the product you need. It has terrible gripping, the chain is not gauged to fit filters for a tight fit and if it is it doesn’t grip well at all especially if you’re under your vehicle trying to get it locked on filter and chain is flopping around.. very very aggravating! It’s not made for harder position filters even if you get it strapped around the filter or not.. built very well but not a filter wrench for underneath vehicle filter removals!

Well built Chain Wrench
This chain wrench is the right size and quality for most jobs. I used it to remove the muffler on my garden tractor. With a couple applications of penetrating oil and this wrench, it loosened up very easily. It was a bit of a chore to get the teeth to engage, but after a few tries, it held and the muffler came lose. I think that I will grind the teeth on the wrench so that they are sharper and hopefully will grip better. My overall comment is, the price was very reasonable for a quality tool.

Powerful and sturdy tool!
My pool pump lid was overtightened, I tried 2 different pump lid removal wrenches, the lid was stuck so firmly, 2 wrenches were all broken, the lid couldn't be moved even for 1 mm. I almost gave it up and leave my last hope to this chain wrench. It worked! It's very powerful and sturdy, finally it saved me from this disaster. I love this tool!Tips: you need to use a knife to cut the oring between the lid and the pump first to loosen it as much as possible, then use the chain wrench.

Slips on smooth chain links
Did not work on the 5 inch steel tube I was trying to turn on my flail mower to unwind wire fence I accidentally wrapped around cutter while mowing fence line. Could not get the tool to tighten on the steel tube to turn because there was no grip from the smooth chain links. Maybe it was me? Maybe it was the tool? Could not find the sweet spot to tighten the chain in order to turn like a pipe wrench would.
