Nice spicy snack. Love it.

Views on products such as this are of course subjective but for me this is amongst the worst snack ever tried. I have given 2 stars because the item was properly packed and appeared as expected. Unfortunately the taste and texture of the snack were very much not as I had hoped having seen a review of the product by a chef that I generally respect. As a means to destroy one’s teeth these are ideal. So hard! I generally enjoy things made with chana dhal but can’t begin to imagine what had taken place to transform so basic an ingredient into such an unpleasant snack. Described as spicy, there was very little flavour in the packet received and while I am strongly opposed to wasting any food I could think of nothing to do with the vast majority of the bag purchased other than to throw it in the bin; other than this, I can’t remember the last time that I threw any food away.
