I purchased as a gift, I thought it'd be pertinent as is " mess free ". However I had to be the one to use babies foot and hand. Quickly realized it's messy. I used to wipes and still had to bathe baby. Though I must admit the ink pad could use a bit more ink. Overall I would purchase again now that I know. We love the outcome and have overlooked the mess and lack of ink. Lol. Great gift for a new momma or grandparents.

The ink pad allows you to take the hand/foot print without any mess, since the child's paw does not actually touch the inkpad. The photo frame is very sleek and elegant and great for a nursery. It comes shrink wrapped in a nice box which makes a nice gift.

I love that this is not messy and super simple to use. The only complaint I have is that it came with one ink pad and as we all know getting that perfect handprint/footprint from a baby is so hard to get even while they are milk drunk and passed out. Once you use it one time the ink is mostly gone and the print becomes so much lighter so just make sure you do good the first couple times. It's also not a glass picture frame, it's like really hard plastic but you don't notice until you feel it.

UPDATE- the actual product is cool. However, if you try to do the BabySquad Tester program and expect to be paid out, you will not. I followed the rules exactly as they were sent to me and not only did the company not pay me out via paypal as the rules said, they just quit responding when i sent proof of my review and a screenshot of the rules to clarify. I don't appreciate companies that don't keep their word so I will not purchase from them again.No picture in the middle cause I'm going to put a picture of my son.But this process was super easy and I'm excited to have this memory. We tried to do hands but struggled for good prints with our 4 month old lol the feet took no effort though. It really wasn't hard if you just follow the instructions. The frame is also a huge plus, especially at this price.

A true keepsake! It’s exactly what I expected and worth it for the price. Yes, you don’t get many tries with the hand/foot printing pad so those reviews are spot on. My only suggestion for improvement is that it should come with an additional ink pad. I would’ve definitely paid more for that. Overall, it’s worth the risk because what came out will be cherished for all time! Highly recommend!

This product works great and is mess free!

we tried this when my baby was 1 week old. it was not super easy for us to get his hand and foot prints (he didn’t like us pressing down his hand) but otherwise a super easy kit to use

The ink pad does not give you very many prints, so if you dont like what you get you wont get anymore than 2 good prints.
