The product appears to be very well designed and worth the money. The seller however, sent an open box/used product. The shipping box was open when received missing a fastening staple on the closure. Inside was the stand with none of the typical packing materials. The stand was scuffed and on of the fasteners was missing. Rather than deal with the sender who knowingly sent a used product I found the appropriate fastener at the hardware store. Bottom line - product excellent, seller not.

Decent bike rack for the money and a good quality build. I already owned the Kuat Auto rack 2.0 so I knew this would be a good buy, to use with the extra part to hold the bike in place that fits into the top of this stationary rack(while working on your bike indoors or outside). A few things I don't like, is that the squeeze on part that holds your bike(not included with this), could be wider and a bit 'softer' to attach to your bike(maybe rubber or soft cloth), but you can add the cloth if that bothers you. After seeing another complaint about the contraption being flimsy to top over, well true, but just angle your bike in the direction of one of the three legs and you should be ok - maybe don't walk away from it if you are really that worried, but at this price and how well it is built, it works great for me.

I just came here to point out that the people who are calling this stand flimsy are most definitely not making the proper adjustments. You have 2 clamps that are the same style that you'd see on a bike tire, or seat post clamp. You need to turn them to tighten before clamping them shut for optimal hold.This rack, combined with the actual bike tool from the rack, is as solid as any other bike clamp I've used, including some well over $300.Well worth $90.

If you own a Kuat bike rack, this is a great addition.It'll support your full suspension mountain bike at 30" lbs with ease. It's easy to use and packs away nicely. It's a little less sturdy than the park tools equivalent, but unless you're working on your bike constantly, it won't make a difference.

I own a kuat Bike rack that comes with the bike clamp. Great company. I have other rack system from them.

The idea of this system is great...but once you take the lightweight clamping unit off the rack and install it on the lightweight stand, it's a little too flimsy for anything heavier than a CX bike. Lucky this is just a backup repair stand in most cases.

I am impressed with how sturdy the stand is for being so light weight. The quick releases make adjustments easy, and with my trail doc mounted in the tri doc, my bike is held solid for maintenance.
