Clover Takumi Bamboo Circular Knitting Needles 24-inch-Size 7/4.5mm, 2.5 x 9.36 x 23.18 cm, Brown

As a beginner I was recommended to use bamboo needles to learn to knit. However these are very slippery and more like polished metal or smooth plastic. Stitches/loops fall off way too easily for a beginner. Look for something else if you are newbie.

I recently retired and decided to learn how to knit. I bought some aluminum needles from a thrift store. They were so hard to use. I would constantly drop stitches. They were so awkward. Someone I follow on social media suggested these needles. Game changer!!! On my fourth project already.

Good quality

I'm not a fan of working with bamboo needles because the yarn doesn't slide off easily. But you just have to loosen your tension a bit to avoid that. The needle is true to size. It measures exactly 24” tip to tip. I would say to be careful when sliding the needles over each other because at times it does feel like the tip of the will split. But other than that it works fine and I can get what I need to done.

I have used the aluminum nedles for years and resisted trying the bamboo. But once I did, I became a convert. I love them!..

These needles are great. I can knit for so much longer without my hands getting tired. Replacing all of my aluminum needles one at a time.

Easy and light weight

I've been knitting for 16 years and have plenty of experience with good and bad knitting needles.
