I've just put 'Beautiful Creatures' down with great sadness. I raced through this book, but didn't want it to end. I really struggled to put it down, and to the amusement of friends, family and colleagues, became my companion in the gym, the office, bed, and everywhere else I went.Packed with fashion and luxury references, and spiced up with a little adventure and a lot of romance, Lulu Taylor has created asbolutely brilliant 'Beautiful Creatures'; it feels as though you initimately know Octavia, Flora and their friends/foes, and it is that which is the essence of a fantastic novel.Whilst some of the descriptions might seem fanciful, it is this escpism to the world of the wealthy and wild which makes the drama so appealing. LuLu Taylor has taken the faithful formula of Pretty Girls + Riches + Money + Romance + Drama = Brilliant Beach Read, and turned it into SO much more.Whist this was the 1st Lulu Taylor book I've read, it certaily won't be the last! I'm just about to start Heiresses, and have already ordered Outrageous Fortune & Midnight Girls.

Good story line but for me a bit raunchy.
