I got these for my daughter who loves to write and make up stories. We go through a lot of paper, and these are nice to have since they’re already put together nicely. The lines are perfect for kids who are just learning to write, and she loves that she can draw a picture to go with what she wrote. Will purchase again!

These are cute for a young author. They would be really easy to make with cardstock ad lined paper. I like that there is elementary style lines for writing, space to draw a picture. You can even draw a picture of the author on the back.

My son is in first grade. I appreciate these books because there’s space at the top of each page for an illustration, but then four wide-print-lines at the bottom for maybe 2-4 sentences on each page. I’ve ordered these books three times because he loves writing/illustrating stories for family members for birthdays and holidays.

Great for your budding author

Well made, perfect for my first grader. I do think the $9 I paid was a little bit much for what I got, but it was a great gift, and the $9 is well worth the memories, when I add these (filled out) to his childhood keepsake boxes.

We use these as main lesson books and love them! They are affordable and an entire pack lasts us a school year.

Too small

My son loves to write his own stories, and these books make it so easy for him. We usually make our own, but since he’s still very young, he needs help assembling them. These allow him to be much more independent so he doesn’t have to ask for help every time, and he loves that. They’re the perfect size, although we love the smaller version too. They make a perfect stocking stuffer.
