HurttaDrizzle Coat, Dog Raincoat, Raven, 16 in

The drizzle coat is lightweight yet provides warmth and dryness for my Chiweenie. He weighs 18# and his back is 15-16” long. Size 16 was way too big so exchanged for size 14 which is perfect for his hard to fit shape. Well worth the money!

Blown away by the quality and thoughtful design of this brand!! We have a few jackets from other popular brands and they don’t even come close.We haven’t tested the jacket in a downpour yet, but I have no doubt this will keep my dogs dry and comfortable on runs and backpacking trips. Very adjustable as you can see from photos. Decided on size 20 for both dogs, my koolie could get away with an 18 but the 20 has a little more coverage. Follow the Huerta size chart and you’ll get a great fit (back length is the most important measurement). I rescued a pitbull from texas and I live in WA state, so she needed a warm coat for our usually wet springs. The coat is well made and feels of quailty. I was cautious at first to buy cause she is a roller, and what i mean is dirt, gravel, pavement, grass, pine needles with sticks, she doesn't care and the coat has been tough enough to withstand her rolling around on all surfaces. She also rubs her sides on whenever is around, so that alone has made me happy with our purchase. I own the slush combat suit, the downpour suit, quilted coat, and this drizzle coat. Im very happy with hurtta.

This is one of my favorite purchases I have made for my dogs. My huskies LOVE to adventure at any time and place, and we wanted something that could help us cut down on drying time since they have so much fur. I had been looking at Hurtta products for a while but wasn’t sure if the cost was worth it, and I’m here to tell you IT IS. I would buy these coats 10x over again. They’re extremely well crafted, fit our dogs amazingly (follow the instructions from Hurtta and you’ll get a great fit), and our dogs aren’t irritated by leg loops or any of the other strapping. Thank you for such an amazing product.

Use it the keep my dog warmer… he needed a jacket…

Our dog is very comfortable in this and it makes a big difference on a cold or rainy day. I had to redo the belt buckle as it was backwards but that was the only issue. It fits as expected and seems pretty durable.

I love love love Hurtta coats!! They are amazing, perfect for under my guide dog’s harness because they are super thin and light. This one keeps so much of my Golden Retriever’s fur dry when it’s rainy out. I love that it has the collar part that you are able to leave loose or tighten up if it’s pouring. I don’t always use the elastic on the hind legs and the coat stays in place well (in and out of her guiding harness). I also have the Hurtta extreme warmer coat which is amazing for freezing weather and snow.

Do like this brand but it does tend to be a little deep for my 5kg slim built terrier and this one is no exception as he on occasion actually stands/trips over on chest section with a front leg. I am not a fan of the girth type fixing around lower torso of dog, I found this allowed the coat to slip to one side when he cocked his leg, maybe slightly tightening elastic legs straps will help longer term; I would prefer a tab that goes between legs under chest and fastens to either side of coat to stabilise in a central position. The coat does have adjusters on the neck area and at bottom of spine which does help to fit different size dogs ensuring rain does not enter that way. I have found this coat to be fully waterproof in heavy persistent rain but do not believe the reflective lining does much if anything to enhance warmth of dog, mine became chilly after an hours walk. Personally I would prefer a light amount of filling to keep pooch warm.

Love this coat, it’s the perfect weight for spring/autumn. I bought this for my beagle, she’s a working one so isn’t as chunky as shoe type ones and so she feels the cold and shivers if it’s cold or wet, similar to a whippet. So bought this coat as we’ve had a wet May and it’s been great. She’s lovely and dry and not cold at all. It fits perfectly as well and I think she looks lovely in it 👍🏻 Definitely recommend this

Love Hurrta products. Always good quality & do the job. This coat is a nice fit. I have a collie/husky cross & it keeps her nice & warm & dry. I like it better than the torrent coat

As expected for a lightweight waterproof coat. The lining reflects body heat back in which keeps the dogs warm. I sized down for all three of my dogs. Excellent coverage and so far completely waterproof.
