Thankful for a small sample size to try
Was glad to test this out - the vial size/amount was perfect for testing, and vial itself made using it by dropper easy. There was a very subtle sulfur (sulfhydryl; SH) smell to the product, which was reassuring that it really did contain EGF (SH-Oligopeptide-1). The product is dark brown/black (which is absorbed and does not affect skin color) and watery in consistency (no viscosity greater than water). However, in using it once a day for 4 weeks, I did not detect any difference to my skin/face. Not sure if I will order again in future.

StackedSkincare Activating EGF Serum
This is my inital review for the StackedSkincare Activating EGF Serum, and I'll continue updatng it as I use it.A little bit about my self, I've always had a troubled skin and alot of scars so I don't usually use any product, as I can easily breakout and develop scars and plus having a very oily skin doesn't help either. So I'm always careful to what I apply to my skin or my face, because having to work all day and being out, and if I had a negative reaction to any ingredient it will be a mess, specially with also wearing masks and having all those bacteria staying on the mask and your skin all the time. So I was shopping for some new products to use for me and my wife, we both have this complex skin type, and she also got some scarring. So we do a facial Sunday, a full skin routine in our house, I get alot of skin care products, exfoliating serums, chemical peels , Facial cleansers and all kind of skin care machines like derma pen and rollers, etc..So I came around this product by accident and for the price I thought well, the higher the price the better the ingredients and higher quality, as I stay away from all those sub $10 products, they all mess my skin and face and i develop rash and it's doesn't hurt if it didn't work I can just return it.So I've been using it for the past month and it's been working very good with me, it's been making my skin so much softer and tighter, I can actually feel my skin healthy and on the pinkish side, scars are fading. Everyone been asking about why my face is suddenly been glowing, and my secret has been because I've added it to my skin routine and I've been loving it so much, it's insanely good product and looks and feel very high quality and I highly recommend it.Please click the helpful button, If you found my review to be helpful and to assist other customers develop a more informative decision. Many Thanks.

Great for brown skin tones
Due to the melanin in our skin pigments, women of color may be more prone to hypermigmentation, discoloration, or scarring from pimples, mosquito bites, scabs, etc. I was looking for something to even out my color (I have medium brown asian skin) but also help boost overall smoothness. I noticed that the product page doesn't have a list of the full ingredients, which I am conscious of bc I have a child with allergies to benzoin, which shows up in all sorts of variations in beauty and skincare products. So here is the full list of ingredients:Water, Pyrus Malus (apple) Fruit Extract, Glycerin, Ethoxydiglycol, Lactobacillus Ferment, Sacchoromyces Lycate Extract, Glucosamine HCL, Camellia Sinesis Leaf (Green Tea) Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Squalane, Sorbitol, Yeast Extract, Butylene Glycol, Chlorophyl-lin-Copper Complex, Nicotiana Benthamiana Hexapeptide-40 sh-Oligopeptide-1, Xanthan Gum, Caramel, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, and Hexylene Glycol. You can see from the ingredients that it makes use of a lot of natural ingredients like apple and yeast (which feature high up on the ingredient list right after water), as well as copper, caffeine, and caramel. While I like products that do this, they often come with a substantial price tag as this serum does. It also has ingredients which are supposed to give you a bit of an acidic peel and kill bacteria in your skin — so it would work great for acne-prone skin. The color of the serum is a bit off-putting, but it rubs in easily enough and absorbs quickly. Products that promise to even your color take a lot of time to deliver and even then, results tend to be subtle. This has been the case for me. I think it's helped, but it's not obvious. At the very least, my skin seems to like it and hasn't suffered any adverse reactions or breakouts.

Pricey
50 bucks is really high for the tiny sized bottle. I don't know why I was expecting it to be a little bigger in person but it's not, it's itty bitty. I like the ingredients and the claims of this product and I'm excited to see how they work on my skin long term. Short-term it's definitely a nice serum and it absorbs quickly into the skin and so far has been working nicely with the rest of my skin care. It's a thin slightly yellowy serum that's definitely thinner than a traditional oil. It doesn't have a strong scent either. Again if this was a little more affordable I think I would like it more but for the price for now it's just okay for me.

Do you wonder what’s in it? Detective work needed:
Stacked Skincare’s EGF Serum is one of its hearalded products and costs $150 in its full size yet diminutive one ounce bottle. Fortunately, you can try the .34 ounce bottle first. Happily, Amazon allows free returns. Frustratingly, the ingredients are not listed here at the time of this review. Detective work to the company website reveals the list. Although most ingredients are happily natural, you should be aware of one toward the bottom: Phenoxyethanol. There have been reports of uncommon reactions to phenoxyethanol being quite rarely linked to eczema and strong allergic reactions. Phenoxyethanol use is often strongly discouraged by safe cosmetics advocates to be used around infants including those who are breast feeding. Mothers and grandmothers love to hug their grandbabies and studies indicate this preservative should be avoided around the youngest of children. Those who wish to learn more and make the best personal decision regarding this ingredient may consider doing an online search for “phenoxyethanol safety.”Keep in mind that several beauty brands include phenoxyethanol. Reactions are uncommon.
