Definitely good for starting out.I wish they were a little more weighty.It has the weight of a standard size empty wine bottle... if i had to give the best idea of how light it is. Slightly less than that actually.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  This is my second whip I have purchased to spice up our bedroom life and I have to say at first I was intimidated when I saw how big the switches were compared to my other whip but after trying it out I really liked it. In fact, I prefer the bigger switches way more than smaller ones. I also like the length so that I can feel it on larger sections of my body. I find the gem stones to be a bit much though. Not needed. And it would hurt in not a good way of the gems hit you. I am going to try to find a way to pull them off since I really do like this whip for the most part. One thing that could make it better would be to add a flogger to the back of it like my other one. Over all, I find the price for this to be very reasonable and definately worth purchasing. If you are a beginner when it comes to "whipping" and not sure if you like pain than I would recommend trying out a smaller whip to get a feel for it. But if experienced, I think you will find this taking it up a notch and very enjoyable. I did. I recieved a discount for this product for my honest and unbiased opinion.

We have become more interested lately as a couple of spicing things up. I was curious about floggers and whips so i decided we would get one to try it out. Ok first off it is a lot of fun, and not just in the bedroom. He didn't know i ordered one so when he come home from work one night i snuck up and got him with it. It was pretty hilarious. On the other hand, it is also fun for the bedroom if you're looking for something new and interesting to spice things up. It has been a fun experience testing it out the past few days and i would definitely recommend it if you're wanting something new to try.It is aesthetically pleasing to the eyes and it feels nice in the hand. It's not too big and bulky and it fits in both of our hands well. I didn't realize that the silver lines on the photo is actually sparkly bling decorations. I thought it was just silver lines running through for decoration but it is actually raised rhinestones decoration for the handle which makes it pretty. It was actually a nice surprise when i got it to see how pretty it was. You would have to swing it fairly hard for it to really hurt, it stings a little but not enough that it hurts. It didn't leave any marks on either of us as well. It seems to be well made and good quality and i think it will hold up well over time.I think this would be an excellent addition to your adult toys or even the first one if you're starting out and looking for a beginning whip.I received this item in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion. This is something new for me and my husband, but a lot of fun. It is longer than I expected, but it works out well for better reach. I found the handle to be a bit bulky for my hands. Although I originally thought the rhinestones were a bit much, they do help me with grip. The leather is soft and supple, although I find the edges to be a little rough. It is well constructed and doesn't look or feel cheap at all. One thing I definitely do not like is the heavy ring on the handle end. I have a problem with it hitting my knuckles and it hurts. I have to remember to hold onto it to keep it from whacking me. I love the bling on the handle. Just adds that little bit of sexy-ness to this. The whole thing is soft suede leather. You really have to whip it to feel it. The quality is amazing. I haven't seen any signs of falling apart or any glue residue. This product will last. I used my husband's leg/back to test this out and it's fun! He said he could feel it and it "hurt" but wasn't painful and didn't leave horrible markings. I bruise easily so it is not always fun to use these for my. This is my favorite one I own.
