I purchased this power strip two years ago, and it's been nothing short of incredible. I’ve had it outside on my lanai, which is exposed to rain spray and occasional wet floors, and it has survived all of that without a hitch. What really impressed me, though, was during a recent hurricane (Hurricane Milton). I left it outside on my screen-enclosed patio, even though water was coming in from all directions. It stayed outside powering two cameras to monitor the storm, and despite the lanai getting soaked, this power strip worked flawlessly throughout the entire event! It didn’t go out, didn’t falter—just perfect performance under intense conditions. If you’re looking for something rugged, weatherproof, and reliable, this is the one. I highly recommend it!

I have seen some reviews stating problems with the usb not working however, not in my personal experience, all outlets including usb work as they should, tested individually as well as in combination with the other outlets.I'm happy with my purchase, a tad expensive, but in my case quality is good and working well for my camping needs.

I use this for my bird fountain which is too far away from the outlet. It's a cool thing to have but it needs coddling. I believe it is safe to use but it doesn’t seem to be fully waterproof. I had to send the first one back because the USB outlets stopped working. From that experience, I learned to turn the unit upside down so that water can’t collect inside them. That seemed to do the trick but, still, one of the three has stopped working. My sense is that it isn’t so much the fault of the product as much as it just dang difficult to create a waterproof box. I am not saying to avoid buying this item but to not expect miracles. It might be smart to provide some weather protection for it, hang it on it’s side, or at least do what I did and turn it upside down.
