Bread slicer PS-955 (Japan Import)

This is compact, easy to use, stores easily and washes easily. It collects crumbs for you. It allows you to pick how thick you want the bread. The Slicer is also sturdy and even if you cut into it by accident you won't damage it. I highly recommend it and even told my friend who makes bread to buy this. She has the traditional one but never uses it because of the hassle.Just make sure you have a nice sharp bread knife and follow the instructions with the downward angle of the knife.

It took me a couple of practice slices to get the knack of this device, but very quickly I realised how good it is. The material is absolutely good enough for a bread slicer guide and does exactly what it is supposed to. You need to aim a bit downward when slicing, but I don't find that an issue. Great value for money.
