Expensive. BUT...my 91 year old father with dementia is in a nursing home and won't eat anything but cookies. I decided these might be a more nutritional alternate. They taste great and he can chew them without any trouble. Recommended.

A lot of the bars have such a chalky taste and strange texture, but this one tastes better to me than the rest. I like to have these on hand as I'm doing keto.

UPDATE: 05/04/2019:Smash bar review ( Peanut butter chocolate brownie )I almost didn't buy these because I couldn't find any reviews on them to confirm the taste. I think a lot of bad reviewers aren't used to what a Quest bar tastes like or the consistency. Its not going to be like a brownie or peanut butter cookie, that's for sure.I've been supplementing with Quest bars for years and my regular go-to are blueberry muffin, cookies and cream orr cookie dough.This bar is pretty good and I like it better as a late night snack kind f bar over a breakfast bar. Its separated in two halves. One half being the brownie flavor and the other half is peanut butter flavor. Its got the same dense consistency of all the other quest bars I've tried but this one is layered with flavor. You get the peanut butter and chocolate taste and its pretty close.If you enjoy quest bars and know what they typically taste like I would suggest this bar as a very good substitute to eating a real brownie covered in peanut butter!Previous ReviewThis was the first time I bought a whole case of the oatmeal ones.They aren't bad but only have a very faint oatmeal taste and there are better flavors. My favorite are the cookies and cream and I'll pick up a case of those next time. I eat a quest bar almost every day as a meal replacement, usually breakfast. They are the best protein bars I've had.

I got a box of these from Walmart a couple of weeks ago and I've also tried the apple pie ones. Just got this purchase yesterday. I love them. I've tried other kinds of protein bars and they've had a weird taste. Not these! They are tasty!Also like the macros in them.

I don't know what it is about these bars, but man do I love em in the morning. The oatmeal flavor is spot on and the chocolate chunks are delicious. Only gripe (and it's very minor) is that it can be a bit grainy after chewing for a while, but, for 20 g of protein, you cant complain :)

Great disappointment. Picture on box depicted a cookie, which was what I expected. Opened, and there were rectangular, individually wrapped, beige sticky fudge bars. How do these companies get away with false advertising. If u like eating fudge along with your coffee, good for u, but I don't. It's going in the trash A waste of my hard earned money!!! I didn't get what was advertised. I'm sure if I attempted to return, it wouldn't be accepted because it's edible.
