Works good for stubborn caps with a pipe wrench

Good product

A good tool for a very specific need. Don't think I'll ever need it again, so I'm glad the cost isn't prohibitive. I needed it for the 3/4" head size and while it worked, it wasn't a tight, precise fit. There was enough wiggle in the fit to add a degree of difficulty to an already difficult task. I subjected this wrench to a blowtorch and direct hits with a hammer and it held up. It's heavy duty and I did ultimately prevail in unscrewing the countersunk plug.

Was going to return it as this wrench did not fit my drain plug in my yard. Plug was not caked with dirt so recessed square hole was clean. 1" was maybe 5 hairs too big to and the next smallest size was too loose to be effective. Wrench sizes did not become available until after I had made my purchase. Shipping to return was not covered and by the time I paid shipping to both receive and return the wrench, I would have paid too much. No problem with the item, unless it should have fit my plug but was cast with a sloppy mold. I never took a set of digitally callipers to it to verify its dimensions.

Very heavy duty tool. It will sure come in handy on those brass cleanout plugs. Thank you
