they don't provide enough elasticity to comfortably flex and maneuver the wrists
CONS1. These XS gloves are too large for my hands. I need women's xs gloves. My problem with these is all the extra material in the thumb and lower palm area. Tightening the velcro only twists the glove in an awkward shape that doesn't even protect the outer palm. I use a manual sports wheelchair as my primary transportation, so my outer palms get a lot of friction.2. The wristbands are the exception as they're too small or, rather, they don't provide enough elasticity to comfortably flex and maneuver the wrists. This aspect is also very important when wheeling my chair.3. The wristbands ITCH--not good especially once perspiration begins. I don't have the most sensitive skin, but it's not the toughest either. Someone who uses the gloves less frequently could solve the issue by putting some softer material/band/whatever underneath, but I myself don't need the hassle.PROS--The material on the palm and fingers grips nicely while also feeling more natural relative to other gloves. The loopy things are helpful in pulling the gloves off quickly.

Disappointed
I'm actually really disappointed in these gloves. When first looking at them in person I thought they were going to be absolutely amazing but I had a ton of issues with them before my workout was even over with. My first issue is they were actually too large even though I ordered an XS. Which that may be the reason for some of my problems . Even though they are hardcore padded they actually were not comfortable at all just depending on what I was doing. I literally could not do pull ups because my hands were hurting so badly so I took them off to see my hands red and black. Red from discomfort and black from the gloves staining my hands. Then I noticed that there was a tear in them as well. I'm not sure if they already had this or it somehow happen during my workout but I'm unsure how they could have torn from my workout since I was doing very light weights. Honestly if I hadn't thrown away the return label I would definitely return them. :(

Used in combination with some form of wrap -- the ultimate hand protection for pushing and pulling heavy weight.
Being over age 50 and a guitarist, hand protection is important to me.I was looking for a well padded training glove to combine with my Versa-Gripps for maximum hand protection. These gloves are well padded in the palm area which is excellent for protecting the hands during heavy pressing motions. They also feature loops which make removal quick and effortless.Of course, no glove offers much protection with pulling motions, especially since the fingers are normally cut off at the last finger joint where much of the stress exists during pulling exercises.I modified my gloves so that I could easily using them in combination with Versa-Gripps by cutting off the wrist cuff. This combination of Padded Training Glove + Versa Gripp (wrap) makes for perfect Push/Pull protection(see photo)

Love them
Ordered a size small and fit me big. Had to reorder a x-small. They do run big. It if helps im normally a size 7 on the wedding ring finger. For those who need a little measurement help. Gave it for 4 stars also because after 2 hours of use they left a black leather stain on my palm. Hard to remove

Ahhhmazing
I was skeptical at first because these were sooo cheap! But ordered them anyway expecting to get something awful, but boy was I wrong! These are awesome and very comfy! Loving them now. I lift 3 x a week and hope these gloves last. They fit very snug at first, but have some room inside them. Lifting got so much better afyer I got rid of my old $40 gloves wih holes in them. If these gloves can hold for a at least a year I d totally buy another pair!

Well stitched and well padded. It is not clear in the pictures, the wrist support is a full wrap not just a wrist collar. At 13 bucks, can't beat the price. These would have been $38 at the retail catastrophe that was Sports Authority.Update after 8 months of use: really nice set of mitts. Comfortable and durable. No issues with stitching or padding with extended use. Highly recommend.

A good buy!
Great gloves for the price! I have lifted weights for many years now and used many types of lifting gloves and I feel that these gloves are very good !They fit well, the padding is excellent, and the finger loops are a great bonus! I am enjoying their quality. They were a great choice on my part.
