Oben BC-166 Ball Head

This is a really great head. It has the quality of heads that are in the 500 range. Super smooth and dampened movements. Easy to tighten and loosen. This is quite heavy but it is for heavy gear or professional use. They make smaller models if weight is an issue. I paired with heavy duty carbon fiber legs that keep the weight down. Honestly this head is as heavy as the entire legs but still lighter than my full aluminum or steel legs.

Too loose and unpredictable. Friction does not work consistently

Sturdy ball head but feels much heavier than advertised.....worth the money
