Rabid: The Savage Spirit of Seneca Rain Paperback – April 5, 2021

A paranormal story that is ripe with deceit, betrayal, suspense, horror and romance. Well written, impossible to put down, and very satisfying. I loved the action. I loved the two main characters and many of the supporting cast. I thought the villains were exceedingly dark but fit the story perfectly. I look forward to reading more books from this author.

This was such a great standalone!! Please be sure to read any trigger warnings before you read. Rabid is a dark shifter romance that I, personally, think would be a great introduction for someone wanting to read this genre. There’s a dash of spice, the plot was easy to follow, and overall just a smooth read. My only note is that the first quart is just a biiiiiit slow to start but after that it feels like you’re running right beside the characters.

I loved this book! The depiction of a relationship between wolf and shifter is perfection. I’ve always wanted to read a book with a deeper description of their connection and I found it. This is a great October read!

Good plot good writing good ending like that is was easy to read and not overly long i enjoyed the world building and kist of the characters

I have been reading for many, many years and often books have now become predictable. This book veered off from the status quo and immediately sucked me in. It draws you in and doesn’t let go from the very beginning, wanting to see what happens next. For the first time in a while, I couldn’t put a book now. I’m going to check out more from the authors and hope their others offer the same. Happy reading!

I love shifter romance but a lot of the time the stories aren’t as well put together with characters and plot lines that can fall flat. This is not that by a long shot. While the world isn’t built up the dynamics of pack and the characters are very fleshed out. I loved Seneca and her own internal struggles. I loved how Tyran helped her come to terms with who she was by wanting her just as she was in all her broken glory. I could have stood to read a lot more about Tyran and her. I felt like we went through a lot of struggle with Seneca to battle it out with him and get to know him. Then all of the sudden she decided to dive head first in. I loved Tyran and I wished the story leaned more into their relationship. But the story was great and the writing was fascinating as it kept up with the intense emotions and action scenes.

This book did not leave me wanting. I love how it is a substantially long story that has a beginning a middle and an end. It's the type of book you lose time to because it was 3 am when I looked at the clock in surprise, and I still wasn't finished and needed to sleep at that point. I started off apprehensive, honestly, because Ive delved into so many books of this genre only to be so ridiculously disappointed in the immature senseless creatures that are written about. That is not the case here, each character has depth, well except her old pack but the bad guys are always over the top. However, how she overcomes and processes her trauma is cathartic, it left me feeling satisfied she could think through the situations without always losing it or senselessly going off and hurting her mate the entire story, only to end on a cliffhanger for it to start again in the next book. The steam is 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ The characters and book are ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Id enjoy reading about Strawberry's recovery and happy ending too or Harlan, Britton all great characters that left an impression! That I can remember them by name is a testament to how good the characters are bc sometimes I don't even remember the main characters name if they irritated me too much! 🤣 Read this! 💯

Love the strong woman lead. Absolutely traumatizing what happens but it shows that love is a strength that you need. Beautiful read.

Se você está procurando um romance entre shifters onde o sentimento de dominação, pertencimento, raiva, deslocamento inicial, fidelidade e ferocidade fazem parte da trama, leeeeeiaaa! Sério! Gente é muito gostoso esse livro. Fiquei apaixonada nesse romance! Extra 🌶️

Great story. I’ve read a lot of shifter novels but haven’t read one like this, that bring the reader into the head of a strong willed, while struggling, character, and introduces aspects of mating in a non-cheesy way. I love Ivy Asher books and will look into Raven Kennedy now too, since this two-author book was a very good read.

Read trigger warnings, but if you are alright with them, it’s an intense but satisfying story. Turmoil, anguish and sadness to triumph and well deserved revenge!

Me ha gustado bastante la historia, aunque el argumento es bastante simple, he sentido que el libro era bastante entretenido. Admito que la portada de Rabid ha influenciado a la hora de decidir si comprar o no este libro.Ahora bien, si es posible comprar este libro por una plataforma diferente a Amazon yo lo recomendaría encarecidamente. Más que nada porque Amazon tiene un problema muy grave con enviar libros, creo que su formato no es adecuado. Este no es ni el primer ni último libro que me va a venir un poco dañado, como de costumbres, usan paquetes muy grandes que permiten que el libro este suelto y, como consecuencia los bordes y las puntas te llegan estropeados.

This book was super good. I loved the emotional scenes and the vicious fighting scenes and the passion of it all. The book wasn’t perfect but the good parts were just so much better than the ‘bad’ ones. Seneca was a power to be reckoned with and I enjoyed every step on her journey. Her mate was great as well and I loved how she slowly became part of a pack and became one with her wolf. Just, overall, great story.
