I do a great deal of hand sewing and enjoy the feel and quality of this thread. As someone who has long been aware of the environmental impact of the textiles industry, I know that growing and processing cotton is hard on the environment. By using organic products I’m doing a tiny bit to make a difference. This product also has the environmental benefit of a wooden spool.

I have used this thread to darn my black socks without any issues of the thread snapping or unraveling. I have already reordered and plan to be a long-term customer. I also love that the seller uses wooden spools.

I'm very pleased to find 100% organic cotton thread to add to my sewing supplies. Why spend all the money and time to track down, then buy 100% organic cotton fabrics only to sew them with poly-cotton thread? Didn't make sense to me either. I'm very sensitive to polyester fibers, sythetic fabrics, latex and chemicals. I have bern since childhood but could get away with wearing a swimsuit for under an hour to get daily exercise. Recently, this sensitivity took a nasty turn and turned my life upside down. Thamk you for carrying this thread.

excellent!!!! Nice to look at and so good not to be adding landfill to the planet. I might be able to find a use for the spool, it is too nice to throw out!!
