Brilliant story line

Excellent characters and I really felt as though I knew them. The storyline was brilliant, if a little confusing at times. The ending could have been a little more exciting hence the 4 stars. Anyone who likes crime mystery would love this

If like me you like a good detective series this will be right up your street. Likeable flawed characters, interesting plot well written. Keep promising myself an early night , but I'll just read another chapter... or two.

This book started off ok but became very confusing with the number of characters, twin bodies, dodgy priests and warring drug cartels. Was very pleased to get to the last page.

This book #2 in the DI Declan Walsh murder mysteries and is another good read. Hopefully, the rest of the series will be as good!It's another complicated tale with a plethora of suspects. I sometimes had to stop and remember who everyone was! Anyway, the mystery starts with the discovery of 2 young female bodies. Unfortunately, they are initially independently identified as being the same person!If you liked the previous book in the series, I think you'll enjoy this one too 😉 😄

Jack Gateland is new to me, and l'm already hooked. Love the camaraderie amongst the team and how the two stories run adjacent to each other. Also the little bits of history. Looking forward to the next one.

Good read, not quite as good as the first book but well written and enjoyable, I now look forward to the next instalment

I enjoyed this novel. However, maybe it’s just me, but I wish I had made some notes as I read. With the number of characters and the (sometimes baffling) twists and turns, I got totally lost at points and had to go back to re-read and check who’s who. Not surprising since the plot revolves around characters who turn out to be not who we think they are.If you are set on reading Murder of Angels and don’t read or listen to it in one session, I advise you to make notes to help you with Jack Gatland’s superbly crafted British Murder Mystery. Recommended.

It takes a very clever writer to write such a clever, imaginative story. Highly recommend this crime novel. Great characters.

Lots of twists and turns with characters not who they were supposed to be (or are they?). All the characters come nicely together in the final resolution. Well done!
