My 6 and 9 year old used the hats when we went Catalina Island. They were shaded from the hot sun. The brim was wide enough to protect their necks in the back from being exposed to the sun, which was great. It's adjustable and easy to tie around your bag when not in use. They were big enough to fit my standard adult head too.

Bought the adult version of these hats and then some for my nieces expecting the girls to refuse to wear them-- there were NO kid complaints! My nieces happily put on their hats even day in the bright sun as we vacationed-- proudly pulling their pony tails/braids through the back slot. They were so fancy! The girls loved wearing it slightly differently -- snapping up the sides, tipping the front or back up and down to create different looks while all the while covered from the sun. Fits my large headed 4 year old with room to grow. Biggest downside is the strap isn't a breakaway which can be a serious safety issue. Also while you can adjust the hole for the ponytail you can't tighten the overall hat for a more secure fit. These are both issues that even a slightly crafty person can fix if they have the time. These seem to be well made and hopefully will last until she outgrows them.

These were great! They fit well on my 7 and 9 year old. I measured both of their heads before purchasing and they were both somewhere around 21". The were comfortable, breathable, and shaded the areas we were looking for.We were kmhiking out in 95°F to 115°F heat all week. They definitely saved the kids necks, faces, and ears.

This hat is great for woman with long hair. Has an opening that works great. They are cute and light weight. Having long hair sometimes putting it all inside the hat makes you hotter and is annoying. This way provides a way to have my hair down and out of my face.

Love these! We bought the purple and blue pair. Our daughter (6) wears the purple one and our son (11) wears the blue one, even though it has a hole in the back for a ponytail. Super light weight, durable, comfy, and provides decent coverage of their face from the sun.

Colors are as shown. Looks cute too and I like that it's adjustable. The string under the chin isnnt the best quality though. Quite flimsy and I'm not sure how long it'll hold up, but we're excited to use it! I got it for my 8 year old and my 6 year old

Love the quality and construction of these - they are good size and sturdy (not super floppy) and keep the sun blocked really well. Will likely be buying another set to leave in the camper because these will definitely last several years. Very pleased!
