The media could not be loaded.  According to the written description by Amazon the product was supposed to have low glycemic index. That was the reason for my order.On the actual bag it doesn’t mention anything about l.g.i. just organic brown rice.It is not what I wanted.

The opening is a bit on the narrow side both for pouring out (control of flow) or scooping with a measuring cup.Had never used ye olde Instant Pot to cook rice before so decided to give that a try using the following:• Rinse or soak as normal (cold water so soak for an hour or so or rinse until water runs clear).• Slightly toasted the still damp rice in some butter on Saute setting.• When cooking a brown rice the ratio should be 1.25 parts water to 1 part rice. I used chicken stock.• Cook time is still almost as long and cooking on a stovetop (22 minutes as opposed to the suggested 30-35) but no messing with the liquid ratios or having too little or too much liquid at the end of the cook cycle.• I used manual high pressure instead of the rice program which is often set to low pressure which takes longer. Wait at least 10 minutes for normal pressure release.The rice came out very well. Had to cook more than I wanted today due to using the pressure cooker but now have some ready to reheat for a meal or two in the near future.

Brown rice is more nutritious than white rice. Brown rice contains more fiber, more antioxidants, more vitamins, more minerals. Organic Basmati Brown Rice by EARTH'S PROMISE is delicious. I like that it's grown, using no chemicals and pesticides. That's very important to me. It cooked up perfectly. Light and fluffy.This rice is packaged and sold by Mindful Foods Corp, located in New Jersey, USA. It is a product of Pakistan. The expiration date on my package is 2023, so I have plenty of time to use it.

I use an instant pot (recipe below), and the results are great. The results are fluffy and clean (some brown rice can taste like dirt no matter how much you rinse). Since I make a bunch at a time, this only lasted two batches. This is a nice, flavorful, run of the mill brown rice. It has a nice flavor and mouthfeel when cooked. Since I have a dandy little rice cooker, the brown rice function on it cooked it up perfectly, resulting in nice, fluffy rice (or as fluffy as brown rice tends to get). While it certainly doesn’t beat my usual basmati white rice, it’s definitely one of the better brown rices I have had in a long time.

Brown rice is my go-to, and this Organic Basmati Brown Rice is definitely one of the best tasting I've had. I love that they take freshness so seriously that they give you both a processed on and an expiration date. When I received the rice it had been processed just a few months before and it's more than 2 years before its expiration date (it will be gone way before then.)

I like brown rice and this Earth’s Promise rice was delicious.I cooked in our Zorushi rice cooker and it came out perfect. I washed it before hand the first time but it really didn’t need that step and the second time I skipped doing this.Came out fluffy and was good with just a little butter.

Honestly didn't have the highest expectations for this rice, but it's really good! Had it with some chicken korma today and it's got a nice nutty flavor and went really well with the Indian dish.I love that this is organic and brown. 5 stars!Highly recommended!
