Hooked my solar cover to solar reel without any major issues. Was 1 plastic nut short so not able to complete job, I have extra plastic nuts and bolts so I will be able to complete.

I bought this kit because is does NOT use velcro for attaching the straps to the reel. However, it is much harder to attach to the cover than other kits. You have to drill (yes, drill) two holes though the cover then force the poly screws through the cover then through the hole in the strap. All this take a toll on your fingers. It would be better if the strap holes had eyelet. Everything seems very solid, but I don't know how it will hold up to chlorine and UV. Also, this kit comes with a lot of extra parts which you probably won't need. And the instructions are horrible. The difficulty of installation and the instructions is why I didn't give it a higher rating.

It came with no instructions, a hole in the plastic bag and parts missing. The kit was more than just an attachment for the solar blanket, but that was not clear from the info on Amazon's site. After an e-mail to the company for instructions (which were not clear at all), I used the parts I needed, and attached the cover in a similar manner to the last kit I had.It was a bit of a waste of money.

As described. Nice long straps. Easy to assemble. Good value for the price
