for some reason I cannot fathom, straight bars are now a fad, this bar returns that old school bike feel with ergonomic angles and allows adjusting tilt to suit your preference, very comfortable.

I had been getting very bad lower back pain riding my half fat bike the past couple seasons and wanted to see if a alt/jones type bar would help. I had previously tried a higher rise bar with regular sweep and still had low back discomfort. On first impression these look like a quality well made bar and lightweight. They installed easily with minimal cable manipulation but no need for longer cables. The width feels fairly narrow but I was able to get used to it although I would prefer a bit more width. The important thing for me is that the bars put me in an upright position which prevented any back pain. So they are a great value in my opinion for those seeking an upright riding position for fat bikes, townies, commuters or light single-track riding.

Really nicely shaped bars... Really comfortable! We like them!But, the portion that is 31.8mm is just wide enough for the mounting. Then the bar tapers... so you can clamp an additional item next to the stem. It won't stay. I used vinyl tape and managed to mount the Aventon bike display, which straddles the stem and bar mount, adequately, but not great. I tried to use an extension bar mounted above the handle bars, but wasn't able to mount it either. So you may have challenges attempting to mount some items... FYI

Did what I wanted it to do! Turned my old hardtail MTB into a more comfortable, less aggressive commuter.

Fitted to a Cannondale Qick CX4. This handlebar is an experiment to see if a narrower bar with more backswept angle can make my bike riding more pleasant. It did improve my cruising as the narrower bar width did reduce the "arms out" that for me was uncomfortable. I may have to add a stem riser to get it higher to reduce the weight on my hands as I'm still leaning forward onto the handlebar. The indexing of the bar at the stem had only a partial line for centerline but that was easily fixed by scribing a pencil line to complete the circumference and thus allowing setting the bar with more upsweep. Comparing this bar to the OEM bar looked like the manufacturer did build a quality bar. Cost half of other "name brand" bars and looks equally good.

The swept back bar is just right for my bike. I bought this bar as an experiment- the price was low enough that I could try it and not be out much if it didn't work. The quality is good and it was lighter than my stock bar- tho it's not really that light.

I was hesitant to go on a swept back bar. Decided to try and i am very happy i did. I am 5'8'' and this bar is perfect for the city. not too wide or narrow, goes slighly up for comfort. All the accessories from my bike still fit. This is a very nice product.

Very good trekking bar and light, I used to have mountain bike bar, this bar is more comfortable, I do not get numbness in my hands on the longer than 1HR rides, and my seating position is more comfortable, have some back problem

The handlebars arrived very quickly and all measurements were perfect for installation on the bike and for the bar end mirrors. Very good quality!

I find it interesting how some reviewers complain it didn’t fit. All the relevant dimensions are listed in the description, if you don’t know your bike and this bar’s compatibility for it - that’s on you.I love my new Kona Dew plus but the fairly flat MTB style bars Kona provided were not ideal for a “urban bike”. I found I was leaning a bit too far forward for “my liking” causing some wrist discomfort. Now, for a younger rider who loves to be “aero” all the the time that may be OK. But I prefer to be more upright in the city, better visibility, and more comfort. These bars were a great upgrade and quite a bit cheaper than some of the brand name alternatives.My only caution, if your grips are on the “wide side” thereby sliding your brakes/shifters inward, you may run into the bar bend thereby making vertical adjustments to your shifters difficult. The shift indicator window on Shimano shifter is within millimeters of the bend - see my pic.Other than that, so much more comfortable the OEM Kona flat bars.
