Very tight fit on my GRiii and GRiiix cameras. It does fit and work, but its quite tight, and I worry about it damaging the hot shoe.It does go on though, and the thumb grip does work well when its on. I would just try not to remove it too much to prevent scratching/damage to your camera's hot shoe.

First off, the item works as intended, it fits snug and well in the hot shoe adapter, and I have better stability with my GR III X with it on.The annoying bit is that I ordered the “RED” thumb rest grip, but received the “BLACK” one.I originally returned the first mix up, but just received my replacement and it is also black.I have given up trying to deal with this. Granted it’s just a color, but I wanted that specific color accent on my camera, now I’ll just settle with the black that I am left with.Again, this item works as intended, feels well made, definitely does what it intends to do, I just wish I got my order correct, in either order.
