First time user of a ceramic coating product and I am thoroughly and utterly impressed!
I take very good care of my WaveRunner. My typical routine after each ride is a good rinsing and an application of high-end spray-on carnauba wax. I’ve basically been doing that for years now and the finish on my machine is still pretty much pristine. With that said, I have absolutely zero personal experience with ceramic car/boat coatings, but I’ve heard a ton of good things about them. Still, I was hesitant to give this stuff a try, because what I have been doing has been working just fine. But I figured what the heck, try something new and see how it turns out, so I went ahead and ordered this Toughguard Speedguard hybrid marine ceramic coating spray. I will admit that even though I received this for free, I did research the company a little bit to make sure these folks know what they are doing. Upon being satisfied that they do know their stuff, I went ahead and made the order.I applied the ceramic coating today, basically the same way I would with spray-on wax – using a slightly wet microfiber towel, spraying some on the towel, and also directly on my WaveRunner, and then basically wiping it on, with very little polishing needed. As is typically the case, I was done in just a few minutes – very easy to apply this stuff.Sooooooooo, the moment of truth – the results…… Let me just say I always thought my machine looked awesome with my routine carnauba protocol, and I was unsure what to expect with this hybrid ceramic stuff. But I honestly didn’t really see any room for improvement…and I was wrong! I did figure that at the very least the finish would be super-duper slick – and it is! The painted finish on my machine is now INSANELY SLICK compared to carnauba! I always remember how a good waxing would give that nice slick result, but this hybrid ceramic stuff is above and beyond as far as that goes.As far as the appearance – well, again, I also didn’t think there was any room for improvement, but guess what – this stuff made a difference, and honestly, I don’t remember the paint looking this good even on the day I bought it! My WaveRunner is a red metallic, and the paint is basically automotive grade, and I have to say, I’m darn impressed with how much a bottle of this blue magical spray-on stuff can make! My machine has literally never looked this good. It has an amazing glossy shine, and the colors are robust and vivid. I am utterly and completely amazed at the immediate results. And what I am about to say is real: I was sitting here typing up this review, and my girlfriend came over. She walked by my machine as I greeted her at the door and without solicitation and in something of a spontaneous utterance she said “Oh my God, your WaveRunner looks fancy!” I was LMAO! Not a typical comment from her and it was spontaneous, which establishes that it’s not just me that is seeing the difference! LOL!I can’t comment at this point on the durability/longevity of this hybrid ceramic coating, but I will come back and update this after some time passes and I get out on the water. Based on my usage this time around, I think this 16-ounce bottle will be good for about five full treatments on my WaveRunner. I believe I will do some light re-coating after each ride, just not as heavily as I did this first time around.I’m very pleased with this stuff. Again, I have never used a ceramic coating before, hence the possible cause of some of my exuberance here, but the results don’t lie and those results have impressed me. The 16-ounce bottle goes for $17, but the value-point increases with the amount you buy, so in the future, I would probably go with the 32-ounce bottle for about $25. I’ll be back with an update!

Impressive shine and very easy to use!
This product is very user-friendly and delivers an impressive shine. It's important to remember that it's not a polish or compound, but rather a protective coating with ceramic properties. It doesn't have the ability to correct scratches, dents, or dings, but it can enhance the appearance of the overall paint. From my perspective, this is a recommended product for those who want to protect their car's paint after they take care of the scratches and paint related anomalies. In other words, this is a “finisher”.

Great product to help protect the boat
I used this product on my outboard motor. Took my time putting this on. I noticed that saltwater beads nicely when the outboard motor is wet. Does a decent job protecting the surface and dry water spots are easily removed.

Hard to spread over the surface and minimal effect
We used to vax our boat with another product on a yearly basis and as needed, and decided to try this brand for a change. Unfortunately, we were disappointed:1. the bottle's spray part was not working. It is a minor annoyance, we just opened the bottle and apply small amount to the cleaning sponge per instructions.2. The liquid is hard to distribute over the boat surface - it forms micro drops and we are not sure if the entire surface gets treated.3. No visual "shiny and clean" effect on the surface as we used to have with another coating.Overall, feels like a colored micellar water with troubles to spread on the surface. We will return to our usual coating reagent.

Impressive shine for minimal effort
My arms were sore after buffing the entire side of my 32' fiberglass RV, so I really didn't feel like applying and buffing off wax - then I thought about using this product. I got it earlier to try on my boat the next time I used it, but with the weather and work schedule I haven't used it yet. The sides of my RV are gel-coat, and I just cleaned and buffed it, so it should be ready for this coating. I shook it well, then sprayed it on small (4'x4') areas, followed by circular spreading and then removal my microfiber towel. The difference between the coated area and uncoated area was huge - the color was much deeper, the gloss much higher. And to top it off, it was sooo much easier on my arms than conventional waxing. I don't know how long it will last, but after a month it still looks great.

Nice water repellency, but spendy
After a good cleaning from storage, we used this ceramic spray on our fiberglass boat. The application was easy and quick following the directions using a wet cloth. Subsequent dry buffing left a nice smooth surface that repels water - which we tested by pouring water on slanted surfaces pre- and post-application and there is a noticeable difference in the way water beads up and rolls off the ceramic treated surface. We usually use Lucas Slick Mist at the boat ramp to clean off lake water scum and prevent hard water spots. We'll test using ToughGuard in a similar fashion and see how it compares in performance. But ToughGuard is substantially more expensive than Slick Mist. After this initial application of ToughGuard, we're hoping that we don't need to use a spray to wipe the boat down coming off the lake - which would make the product last for a few repeat applications throughout a season. Otherwise, if it has limited lifespan effectiveness and needs to be applied similarly to other spray and wipe products, the extra cost may not be worth it. We'll see once boating/fishing season starts.
