This book does not contain enough details about any of the myths to be interesting. By reading it you can get a feel for what the real story was about, but that's about it--no story line, just words linking one point plot to the next. I have only read about half of the stories, but do not think any of them would hold the attention of my daughters. I am not convinced that the author has any feelings about the characters in the book.I do not recommend this book for any age group.

useful and informative...straightforward retellings, no embroidery, no romance, no faffing about...

I’m not particularly impressed with this book. I love Greek mythology, but this book didn’t live up to my expectations. I was expecting it to be informational on a child level, but it kind of jumped all over the place. I read it first before reading it to my girls, but I think it will probably just stay on the bookshelf now.

It was for my grandson and he seemed to enjoy it very much.
