This is lightweight for it's size and comes with it's own storage bag.I have only used the alligator clips for charging. I got this yesterday and have charged two batteries so far. Both quick charges and no issues. Seems like a winner.

Purchased this charger to keep the LiFePo battery charged in my motorcycle. Have also used it to charge up several automobile batteries. Has performed flawlessly. Have not had long enough to know how it will hold up.

In 2011 I purchased an inexpensive trickle charger from a local retailer to keep the battery in my 2003 Hyundai Tiburon charged. It worked until it died in November 2022. I read the positive comments on the GooLoo Smart Battery and decided to purchase it. As much as I tried it would not keep the battery charged on this vehicle. However the GooLoo worked great for our newer Hyundai's, but the not the 2003. For this reason I didn't return and kept for the other cars.I brought another inexpensive trickle charger on Amazon and it worked perfectly! At a recent car show I was talking to another car enthusiast who mentioned they experienced the same problem with similar smart chargers when storing their classic cars. Words of the wise.

The only thing that annoys me is that as soon as you connected it, displays the voltage so it’ll draw if you’re not plugged in

Had a 2016 hybrid, replaced the battery some 7 months ago. So the 12v they put in there is small, as it is not needed to start the engine. It only runs the computer that you need to let the engine start. So some 5 weeks I did not start the car. Dead battery. Do you know many cars have electric trunk releases ? So I could not get into the trunk where the 12V is located. I had to use a battery jumper under the hood to get power to open the electric trunk (sounds like a Tesla car problem). The battery jumper was able to get the computer going, I started and drove the car 20 min. Drove it back home and charged the rest of it (overnight) on AGM trickle charge overnight. Few days later, without the charger on it, it started.

I used this twice on my weekender (main reason why I bought this...not driven daily enough to keep battery fresh). I can't say if somethings are a positive or negative, depends on how you all see it so I'll just list my observationsNotable things:- super light. I have had Battery Tenders, Schumacher, Noco and this is by far one of the lightest. Consider that the B&D, Schumacher were larger units. The Battery Tender was roughly the same in a slightly different shape only used a metal housing. This is closest to a Noco. All plastic.- wires were cheaper than any other brand I had. Again, closest comparison was the nocos and the BT but these were lighter, skinnier.- The clamps...cheaper. Can feel it in the plastic housing right off. Didn't really heat up during the test charges though so for what it's worth. Only time will tell how they hold up with more than occasional use.- ring terminals were thin as well as the wires. The clamp wires..eh, ok. Can probably get away with it. The ring terminal accessory line was not only short but the rings were thinner than any typical ones. I wouldn't be torquing the heck out of these down. This is probably 1 of 2 of my greatest concerns as I wanted to mount these to forgo the clamps. Not sure how they'd stand up to the heat in combination of the summer season heat as well. I anticipate melting issues there.- good screen readout- warms up a bit more than I hoped. I know these things, fan or not will make some heat given what they do, but this was tested in say 30 degree F weather give or more like high 20's and was fairly warm. Not hot but then again, it's 30F or under outside. With no fan inside, I can't see this fairing well under the summer heat.Honestly, I am unsure if I should keep this or not. As a test idea, I wasn't looking to invest in another Noco, or Ctek, etc....but that maybe the route to go ultimately. I will update if I decide to return or if something melts down. Since we can't so half stars, I'll leave it at 3 but I'm saying it's more of a 2.5 stars.UPDATE: 3/24/22 The Customer Service reached out to help address any issues. They were very good and gave no hassles so I give the CS 5 stars. Maybe this helps if you may want to try the product in hand and not worry that the CS won't help. They did. Thank you.

It works so well. Attach it to the terminals ( no need to take the cables off ) and by time you get around to the cab you can turn it over. Worked every time (4) and on one charge. I don’t drive as often any more so the truck sits out on the street in the freezing cold for sometimes up to three weeks. Haven’t had to call for a boost all winter. It’s so small, light and easy to use.

This unit is a quality charger and maintenance tool!!! Easy to install and the readout display is crisp clear in daylight and in the dark.Very precise.After three days of constant charge, the motorcycle battery was fully charged and the charger automatically switched over into maintenance mode. The unit was not even warm to the touch.Very happy with this product. Definitely would recommend.
