Harris Farms Galvanized Chicken Feeder, 36-Inch

Nice enough feeder. My hens didn't like the reel at the top that is designed to keep them from standing in the tray. Had to take it out because they wouldn't use it otherwise. Could be a little wider in my opinion..

Purchased these two to try out a different vendor. We use our feeders for chickens both in the brooder and out in the pasture. The legs have no stoppers to hold them upright for an actual elevated feeding height. This is essential for the health of our broilers, so its a very important oversight in the product design.Otherwise the metal is a little flimsy, it is wider than a few other brands we have of the same 36" style construction - you can see it is bowing out a bit in the center. But the anti-roosting works well and they hold a great amount of feed. I will need to modify the units myself to achieve a locked-in feeder height --- something that you don't have to do from other brand feeders.

I used this feeder to feed my wild animals coming in my garden : birds, squarel , rabbit, deers, racoon and fox. This is so beautiful to watch : a real friendship occurs between them.

Used this as a planter for a top shelf to fill with fake hanging plants. Looks amazing and works great for my re-purposed use. One was missing the legs but that looks like it happened during shipping. Maybe secure the feet before sending so they don't fall out.

I need it so I'm keeping it but never again. The legs have no way to lock in so they flap around. And do not function as a stand. The screws in the swivel lid are too big for the holes. Who goes around the factory at 4:45 giving out high fives after making a product like this? Giving "Made in USA" a bad name here. Only way I would recommend is if you wanted a feeder on the cheap you could spend an hour on to make it work. I used some old gutter hangers I had laying around to make it stand up after i redrilled the swivel holes. Unreal.

These are perfect for our coop. Sturdy and we'll made, they're also easy to fill and clean. We've hung them under the poop shelves and the girls seem very happy with them.

Item arrived without the legs. Was very dissappointed that the missing legs could not be provided making return necessary and searching for another feeder.
