I've been wearing this for 9 to 10 hours a day since I got it. It most certainly helps your posture and those with lower back issues like me should find it helpful.It will dig into the arm pits somewhat so wearing a light sweater will help.I wished it was longer in the torso. The waist belt tends to ride up over my tummy. This one is probably better for bigger people compared to the majority of them for sale on amazon.I really appreciated the one day delivery!

In my opinion, the most important things you need to know about this brace are:+ I've bought it twice (lost one in a move) because it's just that good. I shop around for everything, but not this. This brace works. It offers full back support and does a great job of sort of redistributing your body's weight by looping around your shoulders and having the attachment points for those shoulder straps be your waist.+ I used this for long periods and very regularly; the velcro never stopped working, even requiring much less frequent cleaning (in a 4-pet home no less) than what I've grown used to with other velcro things.+ The metal bars that rest against your back go all the way from the base of your neck to your hips; they don't prohibit movement unnecessarily, do a great job of stopping you from moving in harmful ways, and do not ever bend out of shape!+ The material is stretchy, doesn't look bulky or awful, and the belt area now has little gripping strips so that it doesn't ride up!- My only real complaint is about the supposed "breathability;" it has NONE. Good for them for thinking to have this be made from mesh for the most part. The problem with this? It's only mesh on the BACK! As in the outside, the part that doesn't touch your skin! It doesn't need to be breathable there! It's all open! The part that rests against your back? It's a stifling solid material, the same that's used to make the velcro stick. They just continued that velcro material onto the part that presses against your back. This brace would be a hundred times better if the mesh was against your back and not just for show on the outside.

This product has Velcro-ed elastic straps with two thin strips of metal in the back - which to be honest does absolutely nothing, because the weak elastic system isn’t holding you to it at all.The elastic is not strong enough to do much of anything, other than to remind you to keep your back straight. It is not strong enough to pull a man’s shoulders back and hold them there. If that is what you are expecting, you will be very disappointed. You can still slouch as easily as if you were not wearing it, if you happen to forget you’re wearing it.The broken-English instructions say it works over time. If it does work, it’s because you remember you are wearing it, and you remember to sit straighter. It’s easily ignored if you are concentrating on something else, like working at a desk.Time will tell. For now this gets a satisfactory score of 3 stars, but does not deserve more than that yet. If I find over time that it does work, I will modify my review.I bought one because I used one a friend of mine had (different model) which had much stronger back-support and stronger straps. I have to tighten this one to the point of it cutting into me to get it to be somewhat the way I would expect it to work, but the instructions say not to do this, because it cuts off circulation.
