HANDS DOWN this is the BEST DOG TOY EVER and we have given our dog sons over 1200 toys. UPDATE FOR JULY 14,2023: THIS TOY OF SPRINGING RINGS GREAT DISTANCES is still the best toy our dog son has ever had after over 4 years and 3 months! We have hardly had to buy more of the parts. The rings are now discolored, but he still loves this the most of all his toys and we have purchased at least 150 more toys since I said we had given him 1200, so this one is still BY FAR, THE BEST! You know how your dog will be so itching to play with a new toy or to go out that he can't contain his excitement and he is moving in place just dying to take off running to catch the ball? This is THAT GREAT TOY, even after over 4 years!! He is stronger and you can see all his muscles moving as he anticipated running to catch a ring! He can play about 10 or so times of a ring being launched. Each time he brings the ring back, after a Victorious like run in a huge circle in the backyard, he drops it and we immediately kick it out of the way as we hold the launcher high up and prepare to launch the next ring. When he has reached his limit as soon as you send the next ring off, he comes after the one he brought back already and ignores the ring just launched, so we know he is too tired, so we grab the ring on the ground and he goes and gets the last one and brings it back or we go get it and we put the game away in our garage. HE STILL, after 4+ YEARS, every time he comes out of the house glances over to where this game is kept and signals that he wants to play it! This amazing launching game/toy is the best toy we have ever given him! He LOVES this toy! IT'S PURE FUN, SO YOU'LL BE THRILLED YOU GOT THIS FOR YOUR DOG WHO WILL LOVE ITHERE IS THE PREVIOUS REVIEW FROM 3 + YEARS AGO!THIS toy thrills him, and he runs around the yard with the ring in his mouth, like HE is taking a Victorious Lap after picking it up in his mouth & will Bring it back to you so you can send it flying again. He learned to catch it. This is the most exercise we have given him and he absolutely LOVES this toy!!I CAN NOT believe the negative comments! WE have been using ours for OVER a year & all working parts are still working, and we expected the rubber bands to stop working, they do have a small amount of dry rot now but continue to work. We played with it approximately 5 days a week and for about 15 minutes each time & no more so that our dog would live for this game and he does.But now we play about every other day. You mention the game and he is thrilled to play and starts jumping all over the house. In fact, when he leaves the house, he stops for a moment and looks to where this game is kept in the garage to ASK if we can play. He lives for this game.WE find it easy to use and have no idea why people have given bad reviews. It is EASY to use. This toy is GREAT FUN and the Extra Tough Rings do not break down but we use the toughest rings. You DO have to understand how to shoot the rings off, well duh! But it is easy to figure out. THIS is the BEST Toy we have ever purchased, Bar none, our dog is absolutely Crazy for this toy and we want to keep it that way by ending the game after a short time of playing and not playing with it every day or over once per day, maximum.Its important is to make sure you do not wear your dog out so much that he loses interest because it is simply too much exercise for your dog. Always End the game when he still wants to run much more, so he will recover quickly after playing and still wants to play. You do not want to associate the game with something too hard to play because it is too tiring, too exhausting.Just like human children, when things are too hard, they lose interest, so Play for a short time so it's all fun and excitement, maybe 10 minutes and if it is hot and humid, maybe only 5 minutes so he looks forward to it very much the next time! Wait a few days or until the next day before you bring it out again, and it can be every other day, too. You can tell it is time to stop playing when he won't bring it back, when he sits down with it, when he keeps the rings, or picks up 2 rings, if he is a big dog, or if he starts to chew it, do Not allow any time to chew the rings. That may be why people say it is cheap. It is NOT a cheap dog toy, it is made to be light and easy to use and NOT BE CHEWED. To get it to fly it needs LIGHT and to use it well, the people need something light, that is NOT too Heavy, too.A HUGE success for his birthday present!! YOU will be SO Happy you bought this toy for your dog!!OUR dog will sit down with his ball or these rings between his arms when he is tired of playing and that is when your dog can be destructive with the rings, so it is best to discontinue the play before he is tired and just wants to chew the rings, or won't return it to you because he has reached his limit and do not let your dog ever bite the launcher, that is a sign your dog is getting too exhausted playing, too.This will be a great toy for a long, long time if you only play for short times & not too often, like only once a day in the very beginning and less often after the beginning, so it remains a great time when you do play together!! When you buy a dog toy for more than $20 you kinda worry it is a scam and it presented on the ad to be much better than it actually is. Well, THIS is worth the money!!If your dog loves to play fetch, whether a tennis ball or frisbee or whatever, they will love this! Simple design, light weight and easy to use.only thing I hope they work on is making the rings a little more durable or if that's not possible for aerodynamics, then replacement rings a little cheaper.My dog doesnt chew them but teeth marks will show up pretty quickly just from catching and running them back. (if your dog IS a chewer, the rings might not last long if you're not on top of them to stop the destruction)Overall a wonderful toy that I am beyond happy with. And so is my dog :D

I purchased 2 sets for my grand dog families for Easter. We have goldens with a serious frisbee addiction! My grand dog Brody really wears me out when I visit. I needed to babysit them for two weeks at Easter so I was looking for a present on line when I found the Hurrik9. Well for the first time Brody was taking breaks laying in the grass long before I was ready to stop. It’s a fun, easy to use dog toy but it’s pricy and the rings are easily destroyed. The company does offer a tougher ring set of 3 for around $35.00. I haven’t purchased any yet.

For dogs that are rough and like to tear things up this product is the one to go to over the normal version. These will last a bit longer

Out two Jack Russel mixes love to play catch and chase anything but this toy left them totally disinterested. After several attempts they just walked away. It makes a whirring sound as it launches and that seemed to bother them. Also we found the materials to be very cheap for the price....flimsy plastic that won't last, very disappointing.

As many others have said the concept of this toy is really great. It's fun to shoot, the rings can go surprisingly far, and the dogs absolutely love it. However, the disks are made of a light foam and they are pretty flimsy. I understand they need to be very light to get the distance, but after just four 20-30 minute sessions they are already tearing just from the dogs picking them up and carrying them and I can tell they will not last long (the one in the photo is already a goner). I do have two large Labs, so that is certainly a factor. However, I have not allowed the dogs to tug on the rings at all, but if they did I'm sure they would immediately rip in half. If this item was half the price I would sort of expect this, but $50 is not inexpensive and it's an absolute certainty that I will have to spend more on replacement rings (and probably rubber bands) if I want to keep using it. I'm going to order some of the "extra tough" rings, but if they only last twice as long and are twice the price and only go half the distance, I'm not sure they are any more cost-effective than the standard rings. It would be nice if they sold the launcher at or near cost and then had subscription service or some other way to order replacement rings at a reasonable cost. I understand they need to make a profit, but I'm not going to keep spending $6/ring on regular basis.Update 5/26/22: I bit the bullet and purchased the extra tough rings. After several sessions, I can say that they are definitely more durable; so far, no rips or tears. The downside is that you lose probably 20% - 30% on the distance, so some of the fun-factor is diminished (for the human, anyway). My dogs don't care, but I do have to shoot it more often because they don't have to go as far to get it. I'm on the fence about recommending them due to the $12/ring cost, but if you want to use this toy on a daily basis like I do, then they're probably a must-have. The standard rings just don't hold up. Overall, I'm leaving my rating at 2 stars because of the high cost and the ongoing need to buy expensive replacement parts.Update 6/2/22: After a couple of weeks of playing with this, I've increased my rating from 2 stars to 3 stars. The flimsy construction of the standard rings is still a big issue, but the "extra strength rings" are holding up well. That's the tradeoff between distance and durability. Everything else has been holding up well so far with twice daily use, but I know the band well need to be replaced eventually (they actually include an extra one with the unit). The bottom line is that the dogs absolutely love it, but I can't go above 3 stars due to the high price of the unit and the additional money that will need to be spent on replacement parts.

暖かくなってきたので、うちのわんこと公園で遊ぶ物を探していたところ、こちらの商品を発見し、購入。以前にどこかのネット上の記事でこの商品が紹介されていてちょっと気になっていました。自分が投げるのが苦手なせいか、フリスビーやボールはうちのわんこはあまり追いかけてくれないのですが、このリングは気に入ってくれて良いくい付きです。リングを飛ばす前からやや興奮気味で、一生懸命リングをおっかけてくれます。商品が届いて予想よりもちょっと大きかったこと、説明が英語だったことがびっくりしましたが、特に操作は難しくなく、機械等は苦手な自分ですが、簡単に使えました。全体的に満足で良い買い物でした。

Incredible Exercise for my Yellow Lab!

What a great toy, took awhile for my heeler to get use tot eh launcher. I had to put it in her kennel with her so she got use to the smell and realized it wasn't going to attack her. The rings/discs she took to immediately once I started throwing them for her to fetch/catch like her frisbee.Showed here it was safe to run after the ring once or twice and she fell in love with the toy.My only gripes are the construction. They could have made the rings a bit sturdier (i.e stiffer) and the launcher could be about 1/4-1/2 " larger in diameter as the rings stretch after the dogs grabs them and brings them back to you and they sometimes fall off the launcher when the stretch.Overall I love this product, its a bit expensive, but I was tired of throwing a ball with a chuckit, playing frisbee and needed something else I could also have a bit of fun with at the same time.
