It's a good one

If ever there was a greatest hits album by the native-American group Redbone that indeed includes all the hits by the group this would be the one. In an earlier review in Amazon I wrote that "The Essential Redbone" was the best of the greatest hits albums out there of Redbone music. I gave that album 4 stars because while it included most of Redbone's hit songs it left off two of their best, ""Suzi Girl" and "We Were All Wounded At Wounded Knee". Well this import album has those two songs along with the rest of the song from "Essential" and a couple more to earn the 5 stars it gets.There is no doubt this is the best Redbone greatest hits album to get except for one little thing. This album has become hard to find which can make it expensive as hell if you want to obtain a copy. The price keeps fluctuating from reasonable to very expensive. As of right now to buy a used copy of this CD will cost you about $23.00, certainly a reasonable price. A new copy of this CD will cost you close to $164.00! I managed to obtain a used copy of this CD through Amazon for an amazingly low price so I lucked out getting this disc for my music collection. But while it is possible to come across a good deal for this album occasionally on the whole be ready to shell out some cash to get this.While this might be the best greatest hits CD out there to get a better bargain is "The Essential Redbone" which while not having the two of their best songs on it at least costs at a more reasonable price. Still if you have the money on hand, or are as lucky as I was to get a copy of this for a great price, and am looking for a truly complete greatest hits album by Redbone then I say go for it! You may want to get it as soon as you can however since no telling what the price to get a copy of this CD might be a year or even a week from now, assuming you will still be able to find a copy.

I stumbled across a live performance of "Come and Get Your Love" on Youtube, and was just blown away because it brought back memories of a time when music was pure - no autotune or whatnot that the current bands now depend on. I viewed other clips of Redbone and and decided to purchase this CD. I have since been obsessed with their creative talents and musicianship. Here is a 4-piece band, like many of the 4-piece bands of that time (Young Rascals, Beatles) who just rocked! Love their lyrics, their funky, R&B, sound and how they incorporate their Native American roots into their songs. This is a great CD to add to your collection!

Redbone one of the great 70s bands. Jimi Hendrix was friends with them and encouraged them to show their Native American Ethency and it shows in their music. Love it. After seeing a documentary on Native Americans who helped shape the music world, I went to discover this classic band and was not disappointed.

Most of their best songs. They should be inducted into Rock & Roll Hall of Fame! Is it because they told the TRUTH about Wounded Knee &Manifest Destiny bringing attention to the barbarity of the government policies. Native 600 year holocaust.Government did their best to erase these Nations completely. But they are still here!“Black Lives Matter” is loudly proclaimed across the nation but other lives matter too.

war die erste Single von Redbone die ich kannte. Mein persönlicher Favorit war früher aber die Schlacht um "little big horn". Dass Redbone über die "Guardians of the Galaxy" wieder einmal zu hören war hat mich gefreut. Ich würde die Disk jederzeit wieder kaufen.

Good delivery service. A surprisingly good album.

Very early Redbone and unrecognisable to his later work. I only listened to each track for couple of moments then put it in the bag for the charity shop.
