The solar charger was broken. I sent the company an email, asked if they could send a replacement solar charger, they asked me to send a video and said they didn’t have any replacements , so I sent a video clearly showing that any slight movement- like wind, or a bump, causes the unit to stop charging. What that meant was I though my unit was charging all day while I was out hiking, only to find that it was not! They never responded! That was a while ago. Awesome! I got this unit specifically for the solar aspect. Could be an awesome unit but the lack of product backing doesn’t make it worth it.Update: They sent me a replacement solar charger several weeks after my big camping trip. Thank you, except, it is still wonky. Ultimately it was the unit it’s self, and sadly, because it took so long for them to send me this part, the issue was discovered past warranty. That said, I frantically purchased another identical working unit to have for my 2 week long camping trip in the desert. It was awesome (the 2nd working unit) I was able to charge a phone, and speaker, rechargeable batteries, while I ran a fan and a small portable swamp cooler. I had to be careful about keeping the solar panels clean or it wouldn’t charge, but despite that, I’m super pleased. It is light and durable and even looks good. I have told all of my friends who participate in this yearly camping trip to look into this unit.

I love the pack and didn’t have nothing bad to say until recently when thy discontinued the App. It was the main reason I bought it. But other than that I absolutely love it. I can charge my phone for a hole week with out charging the pack. I use it every time I go camping. When there was a app for it I loved the feed back that it would give you. I really hope thy incorporate it again and come out with a new app it was a excellent feature and was definitely the selling point for me. I still happy with my purchase and is still serving me well. I just can’t gave it the rating I want because of the app issue. I just wanted to worn before you purchase this product but if you can care less about the app I would highly recommend this portable generator to any one

It doesn't get better ...yet. Love, love, love it! Even in the winter...indoors...it charges! Great for the fly-in fishing trips to northern Canada!We can even play horseshoes at night with the Kalipak lights! No more gas generators. Can power my sirus xm radio and speakers, and every possible item I would need. Get one!

i live off grid and this is working perfect for my use where others had failed. It holds a charge well when used to power my laptop and charge tablets. It charges quickly as well. Very pleased with the purchase.

On our usual 5-6 day camping trips this unit keeps all the phone, camera & video batteries charged, and has never dropped below half full. I haven't displayed the solar panels as yet, mainly because I haven't needed to, so can't really speak to those, but the unit as a whole has been invaluable as I'm constantly shooting and filming.

This was a great buy! I ordered a converter to be able to use it for small appliances. Had it checked out by my techie family. All were very impressed. I bought it for possible emergencies, hope I don't have to use it much. Gives me peace of mind knowing I can charge electronics, etc. great buy!

This is working great for us! only charged once and has been used every Sunday since. Only issue so far is it seems to DRAW charge from a battery we were trying to charge but maybe we hooked it up wrong? Charges our phones, powers an LED light, and LED fan for hours at the same time! The peace of mind is priceless but other units are priced higher for no reason.

I followed the written instructions and charged it and depleted it three times to establish the vital component.
