Well, it took me a while to figure out what to do with these bulbs. They are a lot of fun. They are perfect for open bulb lighting, as the light doesn't hurt your eyes to look at it. It is definitely decorative! I put mine in a vintage bathroom light that I restored and made it into a table light and wired it with an inline dimmer switch cord. Works just fine, and now I get to use it instead of just look at it. I happen to have a picture behind where it sits, and the bulb reflects back in the glass on the frame. That's fun too!! The bulbs work just fine.

I use these on nightstands. I’m using the light bulbs in touch-control lamp base, and I can see difference in color. At the brightest, these looks more red/orange and with dimmed setting, they look more greenish to me. They’re definitely not bright enough to read a book, so ideal for night light.

I have both can lights and a ceiling fan with lights in my room, operated on different switches, so was looking for a bulb that would provide some type of cool effect. These are perfect! They are definitely dim compared to standard lights, but gorgeous. Perfect for a night light effect, bright enough to see but won’t bother your eyes. They look really cool with the clear glass light bulb shades on my fan, the picture doesn’t do it justice. Super happy with this purchase. Very cool mood lighting, super pretty.

Fan ceiling light

These are the only bulbs that have 3 different colors, they are awesome. And I like to dim them and keep them on as night lights in my bedroom. They are beautiful and make gorgeous patterns on the wall behind them because I put them on a shelf next to a white wall. I couldn't be happier. A great value, since you are getting 3 different lights in one. A big plus is that they are dimmable, because they are pretty bright in the dark, way to bright to sleep, so I turn them down and they are perfect.

If you want to sit in a pitch black room with a cool light to look at, this is it! It doesn’t provide any light so no worries about seeing your wife’s face of disappointment when she sees them. If you wanted to be able to still see your toes then don’t get this item. Nice concept, not much use case

The media could not be loaded.  I can't wait to get more because these bulbs are so cool and really beautiful. I put mine in a standing lamp with a crystal like shade (also from Amazon) and I love it! It's for our computer room but now I'm going to use them in other rooms too! The pic doesn't do it justice because it's too light right now, but even in the daytime it's fantastic!

I got this for a bathroom light, in the tub section of my bathroom where I do not need a lot of light. It is beautiful, the pictures do not do it justice. It throws light like a night light, but my fixture has room for another bulb so I am getting another one. It is really unique, would make a great gift.
