Pablo

This is a visually stunning, interesting and smart and warm counting book with a wonderful story. But it does more than teach counting, it also pulls in the world Pablo experiences in each step and the child learns about this too. A book to be read again and again. And I absolutely love the art! Its simplicity is much harder to achieve than an overflowing page full of stuff, and it works perfectly with the story told. Hope to see more books in English by this illustrator.
