Tape-MeDuct Tape Silver, 1.88 in x 55 yd (Pack of 3)

I had a weird experience with this tape and I'm wondering of anyone else has had a similar go of things. Basically, this tape stuck at first, but then after about a week, it peeled back as if it had no adhesion whatsoever.I ordered this tape because it seemed like a good deal; it was the cheapest duct tape on Amazon Prime. Fresh out of the box, everything seemed fine. I used some tape from one of the rolls on some cardboard. The only complaint I could make from an initial assessment would be that this tape is not "true" duct tape. Real duct tape is thicker and has a tighter weave. This tape is more flimsy and plasticy in feel.Then, after a few days, I noticed the tape had rolled back like so many silver ribbons. It was as if the strips had all lost their adhesion and just peeled back.I didn't leave the taped cardboard nor the original rolls in the sun or cold, nor did I get them wet. Honestly, I can't think of anything I did that would have caused such a stubborn refusal to stick.Overall, I'm not happy here. Has anyone else experienced this?

This is a good price on duct tape. It is not the thickest brand of duct tape but it is very sticky and does the job that it is required to do. Having bought the most expensive kind of duct tape before, I have found that for everyday use there really isn't any reason for it, because this product does the job that I need it to do most of the time and definitely is good enough. I keep thicker, expensive duct tape for heavier duty jobs, but I use this product here most of the time and it's nice to save money when you can.

Duct tape might just be the closest thing to a miracle on Earth. -It will create an air-tight seal.- It will stick to anything if you believe in it hard enough.- You can rip it and feel like a strong guy that has that PhD your mom wanted you to get.This particular brand of duct tape is a very good bargain, and performs just like you would expect from this hardy tape for ducts.

My biggest problem was that it splits longitudinally too easily. the adhesion is very good, even to the product's detriment. Sometimes when trying to peel a start the tape separates longitudinally so you wast tape trying to get a clean transverse tear. Even if you use scissors or a knife to cut it, it is still difficult to get s clean start.

We live overseas where we can't get duct tape, so this is always something westock up on when we visit the US. So it was several months between our ordering and our use of the tape, after returning to our home in Albania. WOW! The last few rolls we had purchased at a big retail store in the US were a huge disappointment. They were expensive and actually thin. We did have a roll of heavy duty tape, but it was inflexible. This stuff was a good combination of thick and flexible. I was SO disappointed to go to my account just now and find that is isn't currently available -- I hope they didn't go out of business, because they provided a quality product at an incredible price!

This is terrible tape. It just un sticks after a little while. I was using this as a critical peice in my business to seal some items. The tape came undone and I had a lot of product that got contaminated. This is not duct tape. This is a rip off. This is laughable to be called "duct tape" for air ducting. Really terrible quality. DO NOT BUY THIS.

Headline pretty much says it all. Rips poorly and while the key to ripping tape is to do it quickly, yet since tghis tape is so light then it can easily curl and stick to itself. It does what one should expect at about 3.60 per roll but is inferior to Duck Brand 394471 Advanced Strength 60yds (Currently unavailable) and much more inferior to Gorilla tape.

We used this duct tape to secure puppy pads to the floor so the puppies wouldn't "eat" their pad they are supposed to urinate/defecate on...worked for our intended purpose. Easy to tear duct tape with a decently strong adhesive that wouldn't leave nasty residue on the floor when removed.
