Battery dies after two weeks

It’s adorable but I’m not planning on using it as it was intended I’m planning on using it as a magical girl item like they use to help them transform but overall it really cute didn’t expect the wings to be made from a soft plastic excepted it to be a hard plastic like the rest of the body but it’s a good thing the wings are soft plastic instead of hard plastic so they won’t get broken off easily

I really wanted to love the pixie. And when it worked, I did find it fun. Unfortunately, my first one kept glitching and resetting on its own multiple times a day. I exchanged it for another thinking maybe I just got a defective unit. The second one ran out of battery after a day. I put in a brand new battery, figuring maybe the one it came with was just low on juice from being in storage or something. It worked great! Then, after 5 days, the battery died again. There is no reason it should've gone through batteries that quick. I returned it and tried a third time. The third one was like the first and glitched and reset on its own twice in less than 24 hours. I was done. If you're lucky enough to get a unit that actually works, great. Otherwise, it's a real pain that there are so many issues with so many of these. Seems like real luck of the draw and a waste of money if you get a defective one (which is apparently not a rare occurrence given my experience).

A little piece of nostalgia. I had the tamagotchi growing up but never had a giga pet so when I found this adorable fairie I couldn’t resist. I love how easy it is to use. There’s no instructions included in the box but after watching YT and playing with it, I figured it out. Also, my first pet died and the low battery came on a few times. I thought I’d have to replace it but I left it alone a couple days and I was able to make a new one. So much fun! I keep it on my keys so it’s always with me and I can stay off my phone as much.

Really enjoyed my blast from the past toy! So fun to play with an evolve over time. I lost it and thinking of buying another soon! A timeless toy

My 7 year old asked for a Tamagotchi for her birthday. I saw this and thought it was adorable, so got it instead. We are quite disappointed with it. To start, it smelled weird. I usually like the plastic-y smell of new toys, but this was just way too overpowering and not a good smell. Second, it broke the first day she had it! We opened up the battery compartment thinking maybe it was loose, but it is not. It'll come on every now and then, make us go through the set up process again, get to the pet screen, and shortly shut off again. It is absolutely unusable. 3 stars because, as I said, it is adorable, and we may have just gotten a defective one, but I am not buying another one to find out.

This thing brings back so much nostalgia from the 90s. It’s just like the old ones but better. The quality is good. I’m 42 years old and I play mine all the time I did have to change the battery after a couple weeks but I haven’t had to change it again and it’s been a few months now. This is a good little gift or toy to pass time and is totally fun to play with and would be great for kids and teens as well as adults.

My daughter was so excited to have this and we were all bummed the battery died 3 days after she opened it. A few months went by before I bought a new lithium battery and it still didn’t work. ☹️ She’s so disappointed.
