I have used this for a couple of times. At first the setting and assembly needed some skills. However, once it is set, it is quite easy to operate. A color instruction sheet would have been useful as well as color dimming capability. Also, I have been using the lights as a selfie rings as you get four light system and also a light reflector. Few things can be done also may need a free space in room to use the green screen.

The media could not be loaded.  originally i got just 1 softbox light, but they resent the entire order AND EVERYTHING CAME PERFECTLY FINE I LOVE IT AND THEN SOME THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

I wanted what was in the description, for a photo shoot. What I received was 8 cfl soft box lights with stands. Very disappointed, and embarrassed with my customer.I am editing my review, because the seller resent the order correctly. It was as advertised and was a decent product. Except for shipping this was a decent buy for a beginner.

It came with all the parts and it was easy to assemble..

I assembled the backdrop/green screen to see what it looks like. Haven't used it yet. I also didn't extend it to 10.5 ft, so hoping it doesn't sag under the weight. One thing I was hoping would be included - especially if this is for beginners would we instructions to assemble along with what's included in the box 3x ..., 2x ... etc. And possibly even label the boxes containing each part... I had to open each box to see what's inside and try to understand what goes with what. Other than that, looks great!

Lots of selection to suit any setup. The only drawback is poor construction quality typical of the cheapness that’s common for goods coming out of China. If you’re careful, it will last more than one use. Treat it like it’s more delicate than a flower or else it will break. Prone to tipping, so do not extend to full height if you can help it.

Got this to do a last minute photo shoot at a clients place. Open it up I'm missing the backdrops, and an umbrella socket. If I didn't need the lights that did show I'd return it asap but there is know way I'd be able to do that in 36 hours. BUYER BEWARE MISSING ITEMS.

I can’t seem to figure out how to turn the lights on. It would help if there were instructions for setup. I’m kinda just winging it

I usually have a studio set up that includes backdrops and lights, all heavy-duty units that I don't have to move around. However, when travelling to remote shoots, or when I want to create a different setup than the studio, I go to light, portable screens and lights like this one. I have setups from several different manufacturers, and each has advantages and disadvantages.This SH setup bundles an awful lot into a single package and is one of the more complete setups for the money I have seen on Amazon...but is it any good? Let's dive in and see! The package is quite heavy when delivered, and packed to the brim of the box. The package I received had taken quite a bit of damage to the box but everything inside seems fine. The contents include a decent sized backdrop with supports and choices of three different screen colors (including green for greenscreen effects), four light stands that extend to two meters high, two soft box lights, two umbrella setups, four lights, and various odds and ends like a remote and sandbags for weighting down stands. There's two bags to pack everything in, but it's a magic act to get everything nestled just right! All in all, a lot of gear in this package, at a competitive price point compared to other setups which are not as complete.Setup and tear down is relatively easy, and with four lights and stands you should be able to set up lighting for everything from standard portraits, through product shots, to esoteric photography requirements. Everything works well, and while this isn't heavy-weight studio equipment, the stands are good enough for all but the most inclement outdoor weather (wind being the biggest issue outdoors). I got to the point I could set up a backdrop shot with three lights (one for the background and two on the subject) in about 15 minutes without a rush. While I have used this set for only a couple of weeks so far, I like it and it has produced some good photos. I only wish the bags were a bit larger and easier to pack: a minor quibble considering the package!
