Q: Can these go in the dishwasher?

I have had this set for year's and I put them in the dishwasher all the time. I haven't had any issues. I love this set!

Q: Are these a slightly heavier gauge than some other magnetic sets, such as Prepworks?

I don't know any about prepworks but these are sturdy.

Q: If the leveler was mounted under a shelf, would the magnets be able to hold up the spoons?

I would say possibly so. I actually held the spoons by the leveler only and they stayed intack. However, the least bit of pressure or if you were to accidentally hit it they will fall off.

Q: Where are are they made?

The ones I received for Christmas 2020 are made in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China and were produced on May 28, 2019 according to the "Transparency App Code" provided on the box. At least they were made before the outbreak if COVID.
