Fantastic for doggie door
I originally ordered this ramp to help my little tripod dog (22 pounds, left front leg amputation) get in and. out of the car. However, I ended up putting it outside to help lessen the steep angle of getting out the doggie door - and it has been absolutely amazing.I'm not sure if or how long it is intended for outdoor use, but it has rained very frequently and there are no signs of rust or other issues. All 3 of my dogs have grown accustomed to using it....but it has been a lifesaver for the little one... I work 12 hour shifts and had to leave her locked up in the kitchen all day prior to implementing the ramp. It is very lightweight - due to that, it does give a little in the middle of the ramp. However, my other dogs are 35 pounds and it has been no issue at all. Highly highly recommend!

Was looking for a ramp for the dog
My 108lb Dog is using the ramp frequently to get in and out of backseat of pickup truck. Took a little patience to get her to use regularly,

very nice ramp
This is a very sturdy well made ramp. It's easy to fold and carry so you can move it around. I got my dogs used to using it indoors on the floor, and then put it going from the floor to my bed and let them get used to it there. Then I moved it to the final destination, my back yard steps going from the porch to the ground. This was the perfect length to fit exactly over one side of the stairs. One of my small dogs hurt his back recently and since has had trouble going up and down stairs so this will help him a lot. (And hopefully save on vet bills!!)

Thin profile dog ramp 3 1/4" thick
This is the only dog ramp I could find that would fit between the front and back seat of my vehicle. Have a Toyota Tacoma Prerunner (Crew Cab) 2012. Ramp was bought to use on the rear seat of pick up.Was bit concerned that it might not angle properly to sit on the high seat of the Tacoma pick up. However, I was able to see a review with photo where it was installed in same type of vehicle and reviewer said it worked .It is a perfect match for my needs. Have a 85 pound dog that is 7 years old. Saw where trainers worked with dogs to get them used to the ramp and how they did it.Placed ramp on the ground flat and had dog walk across it a few times. Placed it on the bench seat of picnic bench and had dog walk up it two times. Placed it on top of picnic bench table and had dog walk up it two times. Used short leash with dog for these activities.Installed it on the rear seat of the pick up and had dog walk up it. No problem. Dog thought it was a game and was excited. Dog was able to walk down the plank with no problem on leash. We needed a ramp as dog could no longer jump onto the seat of pick up without being hurt. Rear seat tapers from 34" - 36" in height.I like that it is lightweight so it is easy to maneuver and rotate with handle to fit in and out of truck. I am a 70 year old woman, 140# and have no difficulty handling this ramp. The handle did come off on one end during the first week of use while camping. Hubby was able to drill another hole in webbing, add washer and reinstall end of handle back into the unit. It has been working fine since the repair. There is no slippage with the ramp because of the artificial grass. I do not have concerns when my dog is entering or leaving truck using ramp. You do need more room to set ramp up in parking lot, etc. You cannot park next to another vehicle and use ramp as you need additional space. Just have to park away from other vehicles in order for dog to enter and exit truck.Although we had the minor problem with the handle coming off the ramp, I still give this ramp a 5 ***** rating.

Versatile
We use this both for vehicle travel and on our steps to go outside. Not as wide as I'd like but our dog got used to it and she doesn't fall down the steps now. She uses it with gentle reminders. Makes our lives so much easier especially getting in and out of the car. It's a life saver. The fake grass keeps her from slipping and sliding. Glad we got it.

Like the ramp very much. It had slight defect -- but all is well now!
I purchased this for my labrador retriever. I like the fact that it's astro turf -- that's a great feature that all ramps should have. Some of the ramps use sandpaper as a non-skid surface and I've read many reviews stating that this surface hurt their furry friends! However, when I received and used it a couple of times, I noticed that the latch mechanism would not release. I jiggled it and looked closely at it -- since it's so simple it's obvious that the latch was slightly misaligned when it was assembled. I called the company and they referred me to Amazon as being responsible for the product for the first 30 days. Okay that's fine -- but when I tried to 'warranty register' the product online I clicked on submit and there was no subsequent screen asking me to enter my information -- i.e. name, address, product, date of purchase etc. That's wierd -- I then went to their 'contact us' page and there is a form for submission of inquiries. However, there was no submit button. I did notice that their web site is flagged by my Chrome Browser as being 'not secure' -- meaning they haven't even gone to the trouble to switch their web site over to the https protocol. Not sure as to whether Chrome blocks form submission for that reason or not. Luckily they had an email address provided on the same page so I used that to send my warranty submission question via gmail. So my 3-star rating is based on high rating for the product (if it were not defective) but low rating for the companies poor customer service as reflected in its web site.Update 6/10/19: I did hear back regarding my inquiry. Gen7Pets was acquired by another company (Petmate) and they advised that I did not need to register online and that my receipt was the only document needed should repairs be needed within the one year warranty period. The latch problem I reported is no longer an issue. It's possible that the latch had some foreign material in it and that with my continued use it has worked itself out. At any rate, it is a very nice ramp and it's working very well for me and my lab! So I'm changing my rating from 3 to 5 stars!

Absolutely the best!
The media could not be loaded. Our 12 year old Labradoodle (65lbs) needed about 5 times up and down training but then got very comfortable walking up and down the ramp. Traction is excellent for the dog once she learned not to step on the curbs. It's quick and easy to set up or take down and takes up very little space due to it's low height when folded flat. Can't imagine there is anything better -short of an elevator.

Worth every penny
I was tired of homemade ramps for my dog to get into the car, so I decided to buy this and have zero regrets. It is very well made and looks like it will last a long time. The ramp is not heavy. I have R.A. and I am able to pick it up using the strap provided. One click on the button and it opens without hesitation. To close it, I just fold it and it clicks into a locked position. I like that there is rubber at each end on the bottom. Prevents the ramp from sliding or scratching my car. I am pleased with the construction of this ramp. The carpet appears to be well fastened to the ramp. I recommend this ramp for tight spaces, like the back door of an Audi. Thanks.

Such good traction
Very happy with this purchase. We adopted an 11 yr old dog and wanted to make it easier for him to get into vehicles. We use it with an F-250 & Jeep Rubicon. I also ordered the light version but I can see why others review said they had to put a towel over it for traction. I returned it as this grass option was far better out of the box. I replaced the plastic clip (it broke when I closed my tailgate on it) with a metal carabiner and that has been much better. Would recommend.

great for our 12 year old 11 lbs dog to go up couple of slippery stairs
Our12 years old, 11 lbs dog has some difficulty going up and down couple of slippery hardwood stairs. She didn't want to use the ramp at first. She was scared to go up on it and when going down, she slipped at the bottom when she got on our hardwood floor and faceplanted as she run down the ramp. We placed a flat dog bed under the lower end to provide soft nonslip landing and now she is using it just fine. It took her about a month to be comfortable with it. We are using it only for 2 steps, not sure how steep it would get if used for more steps. There is a screw on the underside of the top end which scratched our hardwood floor on the top step. I taped over it which solved the problem. It is a good ramp, I would buy it again. Thinking about getting a second one for other steps in our house.
