Great for long runs
Really wanted something very minimalist. This fit the bill. Was traveling and needed to carry fluids and supplies for long runs. This little pack was super, without being annoying. I could see one down side, and I would bet it would not work well with a tank top as the bottom half of the straps are just webbing. I have always used this pack with short sleeves and therefore avoided any possible chafing.

A great alternative to bladder packs, waist packs and hand-held bottles
I purchased this product since I didn't want to use a bladder-type hydration pack and have had less than favorable results with some other hydration systems (Nathan Triangle Insulated Angled Holster Waist Pack and Quickdraw Plus Handheld). Carrying a handheld bottle became a pain after 5 or 6 miles, and the waist pack would rotate around my waist as I ran. This pack sits a little higher up on the back than a bladder-type system. Once you get used to the position of the pack, you really don't even notice that it's there. Bottle removal and insertion is a breeze and the bottle stays in place surprisingly well. The only time I ever had it fall out of the quiver was when I quickly removed the pack. The pockets on the front of the shoulder straps are easily accessible and the perfect size for holding gel packs (or packs of nut butters). The large pocket in the rear has a key lanyard and can easily hold a mobile phone and a pair of gloves.I found two minor flaws, both related to the bottle...1) The plug is not easily pushed all the way down. While the plug may appear to be seated, I had it leak quite a bit when running. I might end up using another bottle if the problem persists.2) The plug also cannot be removed for cleaning like those on the Nathan bottles. It would be nice to thoroughly clean the plug (i.e., with bleach) on occasion to remove any bacteria.I feel that it's perfect for distances up to 15 miles. For anything longer, I would move up to the Double Barrel model. By all means, don't let the steep price scare you off, this is great pack!

Works perfectly
Bought this for road marathon training and races. I typically run 4 minutes, walk 1 minute for longer runs. I have been using a handheld bottle, and would switch hands during the walk breaks, but my arms would still get sore after long training runs. I would also tend to roll my shoulders forward with the handheld bottle. This small lightweight bottle holder solves the problems perfectly!

Barely know it’s there
Works great for longer runs. Easy to seat the bottle into the holder. Doesn’t rub or chafe.

Expensive, but worth it.
After running for five years and trying all types and brands of running hydration packs (Amphipod, Nathan, Salomon, ...) the only one that was enough comfortable for long runs (10km, 21km, 42km) was the Fitletic / fitness. So, despite of it been so expensive, I decided to try theOrange Mud HydraQuiver Single Barrel. At first I wanted to try the HydraQuiver vest pack 1, but in the pictures, when looking at front, it looks like a BRA, for Christ's sake! Did they paid a designer for that??? So I bought the cheaper one, the HydraQuiver Single Barrel. And I have to say I was very surprised. 1) It didn't hurt my shoulders's skin, as my Salomon XT Advanced Skin S-Lab and other vest packs, do. 2) Filling up 3/4 of the bottle and I just can't fill it there in my back. It feels like there's no bottle back there! Because no matter how I run, I didn't feel it bouncing around. 3) Even tired in the ending of my 15km training I could easily reach the bottle and put it back “on the fly”.If didn't live in Brazil, a country that wants to become Venezuela/Cuba, I would buy the Double Barrel pack, to try.

As a runner and triathlete it’s the best training pack I’ve ever used.
Comfortable, holds keys and phone and water bottle sits tight

Great for long runs
I use them when I plan on running longer distances. It fits well and I love that there are no straps across the chest. The water bottle is easy to get by reaching over your shoulder and easy to put back without having to take the entire pack off. The downside are the pockets on the straps. They are confusing because I am not sure what they are meant to fit. Nothing I have tried fits in there and will stay there. It would be great if it could hold a phone but I use the back pocket for that and it works.
