I know everyone is different but here’s my story. I started getting bouts of eczema on my eyelids and also the orbital skin underneath my eyes. It would get triggered from anything different in my washing or makeup routine. When having an outbreak, the skin around my eyes would start to itch, then burn, then become red and super inflammed. It was awful and so puffy around the eyes that it looked like I had been punched in a fight. I tried every kind of cream, ointment, prescription and simple, natural type ingredients to stop the flare up. Most of them seemed to irritate and exacerbate the eczema rather than to calm it down. This Restoraderm is the best by far that helps and helps quickly. While the flare up is happening, the Cetaphil does sting a little at first. But it actually does calm down the redness and helps with the inflammation. It does take a couple of days to get the flare up under control and a few more days to get my skin back to normal condition. When back to normal, I still use this twice a day on my face and around my eyes. Be careful not to get in the eyes.My husband gets extremely dry and cracked skin on his feet in the winter. He also has tried multiple creams and salves for his feet. Then when I can’t find my Cetaphil lotion, I see that he’s taken it. He says that even though it’s a lotion, it has worked better than anything, even thicker creams, for his feet.This Cetaphil is my savior for keeping eczema at bay and works just as good on dry, cracked feet. I give this lotion my highest recommendation and always keep an extra container in inventory.

Good for skin irritation

I've been using this for a few years now and it not only doesn't irritate the skin it seems to help with healing damaged skin and dry patches better than the very few products that I could use that didn't irritate my skin. My recent provider on Amazon was OxKom and they sent me the latest version (love the new label) in record time. Thank you Amazon for having such quality providers as OxKom.

I have had numular eczema for many years, recurrently using potent steroidal ointment. Not until the discovery of Cetaphil Eczema calming products have I obtained consistent relief and improvement of my skin. Used consistently, I am now using steroids perhaps but once in a two weeks' period and can sleep through the night without itching awakening me. I am reluctant to recommend any quasi-medical product, but have no such reluctance here. For me, this truly works.

A couple of years ago I had a rash that I could not get rid of using other products, prescription and over-the-counter. As a last resort, I gave Restoraderm a try and Bingo! The rash took a hike and has not been back since.I apply it twice a day, morning and evening and it works very well.

Been having problems finding it in Walgreens or CVS but Amazon saved the day, it’s great for my dry skin

The product is excellent. It's not oily and it's remains in the body for a long period of time. I recommend.
