Ich habe den REINER SCT Authenticator gekauft und bin sehr zufrieden. Die Einrichtung war einfach, und das Gerät funktioniert zuverlässig. Es bietet mir ein hohes Maß an Sicherheit für meine Online-Konten. Ich kann es uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

So cleverly implemented. Performing the software update is a fantastic use of QR codes for what is otherwise an air-gapped device. Choosing the 'Update EN' option from the support section of the manufacturer's website for the software update, switches the device to English. Similarly, it uses a QR code to synchronise its internal clock or set a different time zone. A great design. Very impressed.I use it as an emergency backup device when travelling in case my phone becomes unusable. Using the ReinerSCT Authenticator and my memorised password for a web-based password manager, I can re-gain access to everything. Optionally, access to the authenticator device can be restricted with a PIN.

Si vous recevez un exemplaire en allemand (ce qui est fort probable), il suffit de flasher les QR code de la vidéo ANGLAISE de mise à jour 2.06 disponible sur le tube (mise à jour par QR code, une première !).La synchronisation de l’heure (très important pour avoir le bon code au bon moment) se fait aussi via QR code depuis le site du fabricant (ce qui pose souci si le fabricant baisse le rideau). D'ailleurs, je lui demande en vain de prévoir une procédure alternative à ce propos. Sinon, c’est 100 % compatible avec l’authentification double acteur de Google, Microsoft ou Amazon. J’avais une copie des QR codes de ces services, j’ai donc les mêmes chiffres entre l’application smartphone et ce boîtier qui reste à la maison est ma solution de secours.L’affichage classique affiche un code tout les 30 secondes. L’affichage « confort » change toutes les minutes en anticipant éventuellement le code à venir; ce qui est accepté par la plupart des services.

Hallo, wie beschrieben, wie erwartet, wirklich die einfachste Lösung um einen Code für die 2FA Anmeldung im MS Netzwerk/Office zu erhalten. Durch die kleine Kamera lässt sich das Gerät genauso einfach (eigentlich viel einfacher) über den angezeigten QR Barcode and das eigene Konto koppeln, wie mit Authenticator auf einem Smartphone.Die ältere Kollegin, ohne eigenes Smartphone, braucht nur auf OK zu drücken und schon, bekommt sie die 6 Ziffern angezeigt.Es gibt evtl. preisgünstigere Lösungen, aber die Zeit die ich bei Recherche und Einrichtung eingespart habe übersteigen den Kaufpreis dieses Gerätes.
